What’s Your View On The DUB/Jason Phelan Beef?

What are your views on the Dub/lacey/ditchburn, burning of the Pub T-shirt? In a sense they all ride the same skatepark, they all say their friends where Dub is bigger and more serious do you think it is okay what they did, should they have put it in a video and third has anything like this ever happened before that you’ve seen if so what was the outcome?

Will There Ever Be Another BMX Video Game?

Are you familiar with video game Skate (1,2, or 3)? What do you think it would take for a BMX rendition of this be created? Surely there is a big enough market for this. BMX is growing quickly, perhaps you could shed some insight in terms of how many page views TCU gets or perhaps any other BMX related sites. There is big money at play now behind the scenes of BMX. EA should cash in on that market with a more realistic BMX themed video game.

Is BMX Truly Limitless?

BMX constantly progresses but you would think certain tricks seem almost impossible and will never be pulled. Just take for example a 540 bar to fake nose manual, will that trick ever be pulled? or even a whip to nose manual is something i’ve never seen. I suppose a truck to nose is possible but is that something that could ever really be pulled on a true street ledge and not off a box jump lip? Basically what i’m trying to ask is do you think BMX has a limit trick wise?

How Do You Get Sponsored?

I’ve always wondered how to sponsor game works, from big name pros getting an energy drink sponsor or a relatively unknown getting their first parts hookup. Does the rider typically contact a company and ask to be on the team or send a ‘sponsor me’ tape? Or is it more who you know or a company taking notice of a rider and asks them if they want to be on the team?

Let’s Talk About Helmets.

Hey adam, not sure if this has come up yet, but why do you think there is so much controversy around people wearing helmets to ride street?

I guess its kinda calmed down now, but for some time it was the main focus on any web video where the rider wore a helmet riding street. It would never be brought up in a dvd review. This isnt just in the comments, many captions for videos on tcu homepage have included a comment about the rider wearing a helmet.

Skatepark edits never get the same attention, its seems to have always been the norm.
I was wondering on your take on this? As you openly say you like riders who are doing their own thing ect ect, and your newest favourite rider, Alex Donnachie seems to always wear his. I personally dont care, as it effects what the rider is doing on his bike in no way what-so-ever.

I do like ask the come up and chicken and rice, and probs check them just as much as the main site as the content is much more original, and would like to hear your take/ account or whatever about it all.

The Ghost Feeble.

Theres a trick that i keep seeing poping up that i dont know the name of it, iv seen it in a few Seamus Mckeon edits and even one fron Eric Lichtenberger were they slide there tire across the box like a grind without pegs. i think the trick is cool and id love to learn it, if you could put up a how-to aswell that would help also, but mainly if you could just give me a name of the trick would be great?

Why Isn’t Rob Diquattro Sponsored?

How underrated is Rob Diquattro? How is it possible that brands like Cult hook up riders from NYC that aren’t even close to how good this dude is, but Rob has never gotten a free part in his life. Are brands scared to support people like him, because he puts out funny/ironic edits? For showing how much fun he has? Do you think brands are afraid they’ll lose their “cool” factor?
