“I don’t ever ride BMX. I’m not really into it anymore… I ride track bikes a lot.”

I loved shook until brainstormed stunk it up. I dont think chad has made anything i could even stand to watch after that, i guess maybe that’s about when he quit riding.

The guy is badass, or he used to be, probably still is. I’m jsut going by the only part I saw him in which was System and that section with him and Schwartz was soooo dope. He had good style and did some savage street stuff. Winteractive is a classic too. Chad, if you’re reading this, what was the name of the beat/song in the intro to Winteractive? Could never find that tune and it’s sweet.

i think it’s like so profound that he like found life outside of the hobby of bmx and can truly understand people that don’t ride. This guy is so far ahead of his time and his brain is too expansive to be held back by a hobby. fuck off chadshack, i always hated your after effects garbage.

I don’t think he grew out of bmx I think he was quietly given the boot. Read his last article from the come up. He didn’t sound like he was done. Now two months later and he’s done? Hiding out in Mexico. Sounds like someone is on the run.

its pretty funny now that i read the int where he claims to have ’shot’ a music video while working with a director and a DP ? some of his filming over the years has been seriously awful.
Hmmm it kinda sucks the way he hates on BMX but fuck it he had mad skills in the day – ice to 270 in can i eat? on the jerz barrier is still sick. Didn’t really like the tone of the interview in the sense that he sounds like hes trying too hard to break into film-making and isn’t content with making BMX vis anymore – fair enough, I’m not super into shooting BMX but I am a film graduate working in television and have so-far managed to work with a lot of great cameramen – from everything i’ve ever seen him shoot, i honestly think he doesn’t have the talent to make it as a DP – the odyssey video was just shot…. so bad… could maybe editing some goofy, hyper music videos with loads of shit effects. but whatever. best of luck to him
i meant ‘making it’ in the sense of becoming a great DP, caus theres no doubt he could be a mediocre one. I think a lot of people in bmx think because they can shoot someone grinding a rail with a lightwieght handheld camera and a wide lense, they’ll automatically be a great DP. nah son
