KC Badger’s got an interview on ESPN. I wasn’t going to post it but there’s a little TCU mention:
“Where did the “Laziest pro in BMX” tag come from?
It came from TheComeUp. I think it was a joke. It came out right before a Kink road trip, so we played up on it and made fun of it, and I don’t know if people took it real seriously. But for whatever it’s worth, I think it’s kinda funny.”
It was, in fact, a joke, that a lot of people took as me having some sort of malice towards KC which of course isn’t true. It came up while watching Safety First with a few people. KC’s last trick was a 2 foot tall walltap on a wall out of a quarter, which is fine and all but someone (probably me) said “this guy is the laziest pro in BMX” and I think I might have Tweeted it or just mentioned it on the site. There isn’t anything wrong with being lazy, or just taking video parts less seriously than the average rider, it was just an opinion. It’s not like KC ever had an epic video part and has since fallen off, he’s always had pretty laid back sections and if Kink are down to keep him on the team regardless of that, that’s chill. So there’s my thoughts on a subject that’s like a year old and almost none of you probably actually care about.
