Keith Mulligan Interview.

as_bmx_mulligan_576
Keith Mulligan’s got an interview up on ESPN about the future of print, specifically relating to his job as editor of Ride magazine. It seems everyone in the print world is waiting to find out the answer to a pretty simple question: will people pay money to read magazines on their iPad’s and other mobile devices? Or maybe more importantly, if they do, will that money even be enough to matter? I can’t call it, but it should be interesting to see how things play out.

Ride Mag = Solid, well worth the money. You get no ‘feeling’ or ‘vibe’ from the internet (besides hate here).

If ride was smart they could start up a decent iphone or nexus app. Get the content right to the phone. Would cut down on their distribution costs too. The come up gets way more visitors than the ride site but vital still gets the most (7000 more per month) so… yeah. Cool. Print isn’t gonna die, its just gonna go vegetative and survive off a feeding tube.
