The Gatorade Free Flow Tour Virtual Stop Video Contest

Can’t make it to a Gatorade Free Flow Tour stop, but think you’ve got the goods to hang with the top amateur riders in the nation? Then this is what you’ve been waiting for. Read on for all the details.

Looking to compete in the Gatorade Free Flow Tour Finals this September, but can’t make it to one of the 47 events to qualify? Don’t fret – we have a solution for you. The Gatorade Free Flow Tour has partnered with Transworld Media for the second year in a row to bring you a Virtual Stop Contest. From now until August 31st, all amateur BMX riders (park/dirt) between the ages of 13 and 21 can submit their videos to www.gatoradefreeflowtour.transworld.net.
The nitty-gritty details for the Virtual Stop Video Contest:
Each video submitted in the contest must be an original creation under two minutes in length. Judging for the Transworld Virtual Stop Video Contest will take part in two phases. Phase 1 will take place during the submission period, during which time the public can cast one vote per category during the submission phase for their favorite videos. In Phase 2, judges from Alli Sports and Transworld will evaluate all submitted videos based on technical ability, consistency, course usage and other factors.
When voting from both Phase 1 and 2 has been tabulated and compiled, up to three BMX riders will be named winners of the contest. The winners of the Transworld Video Submission Contest will be announced on September 3, 2010, and each winner will be awarded wildcard entry into the Gatorade Free Flow Tour Finals, taking place Sept. 16-19 at EnergySolutions Arena in Salt Lake City, Utah.
