Trails Approval?

I know not a lot of you follow my site, but this seemed to be getting a shocked reaction on the Board. Basically, the trails around here were what seemed to be ready to plow, but the city ended up letting us keep them. Has anyone else ever had that situation with their trails? That’s what I was most curious about.

    The good trails always get plowed, Sad and frustrating if you build them . Never had a set saved, even went to the courthouse with 100+ kids.

    There’s a couple spots that come to mind that have a similar “understanding” with the city parks department, that I know of. Southern Indiana/Louisville Ky’s Highland Park has run like this for 10+ years. 21st street in Columbus has a similar situation too, I think. Keep ‘em dialed and the city stays off your back. Seems like a win/win to me.

    thats pretty lucky! all our trails just get plowed and they take all our shovels and tools, private property is the only way to go.
