More Info On The Odyssey 4 Piece Bars.

untitled2
I’ve posted about these before, but Odyssey put up some info about their new 8’6” 4 piece bars. I didn’t bother to say anything before but I’m in a very “why not?” mood, so I’ll just say that I like Odyssey as a brand, I like Nuno as a person and I don’t mind 4 piece bars in general, but these are the ugliest handlebars in the history of things you can clamp onto a bicycle.

is this left over stock from the first time round?

  • BOB DOLE

If you think those are the ugliest bars ever, you’ve never witnessed the horrendousness that are Vector bars…

  • BOB DOLE

    definitely almost nine feet tall.

  • i like to comment

and yep, they are 8.6 by 28 inches big, but what really makes my wrists smile (if such a thing is possible) is the upsweep. thumbs up odyssey, you did a great job there!

I would name these “Pie-sauce bars”. Most pysas in LA rock these on an outwards 45 degree and clamped to a chrome GT/DYNO from when I was 3.

Actually, Europeans write it the other way around (‘=inches, “=feet). But I think it was just a typo in this case, ‘cuz Odyssey ain’t European.
Either way, you (maybe) learned something today. :)

  • Git learnt

Actually, it’s wrong either way. Decimal points and all…

DK did the same design in the 90′s.
