I actually own a vintage road bike and a vintage fixed gear conversion. I was pretty much being sarcastic and expecting a lot of kids to agree with that. I actually think it’s a cool idea.

I’m psyched.

You definitely sounded exactly how I’m expecting most BMX kids to react. Flip-flop hub, freewheel and fixed. It’ll come assembled with the freewheel set up, and I’m hoping a cog and lockring will come with it if it doesn’t cost too much.

If it’s single speed PLEASE use horizontal dropouts!

the schwinn/worksman style double toptube looks cool but is totally unnecessary with modern steels, unless the manufacturing is thoroughly incompetent.

i have a cruiser with that same exact frame design

I would not appreciate the added weight of that extra top tube, plus i think it would look cooler with just the bent top tube.

That will be awesome. Good to see a BMX co. making something other than another fixed gear or 24′ cruiser. I think horizontal dropouts might be a better choice though. And I hope it comes with fenders!

Weight is not really an issue when the bike is just made for cruising. The added weight is probably not much anyways.
