You’d think someone that owned a parts company would realize making an existing grip flangeless wouldn’t require a new mold.

you dont make an entire new mold to remove the flanges the molds are done in 3′s.. the middle and each end.. this means they made a new end if im correct.

Look at the nub with his signature on it (different than the originals). It’s a new mold.

Jim – i think flange was referring to the fact that Adam owns OSS (a parts company) and how Adam implied in this post that Animal had to make a new mold to make the grips. flange wasn’t assuming Animal needed a new mold, Adam did.

Look at the logo on the nub. It’s not the same mold.

The mold is in sections, they only had to make the flangeless part.

put your grips on with an air compressor. it’s easy.

check out the parting line 1/2″ from the end. thats all they remade.

EXACTLY, look at the nub with the signature on it and that is the only new mold they had to make. know what you are talking about if you’re going to speak so strong of it, grip molds are done as 3 seperate molds i know this for a fact. every grip should come flangeless by the way i dont know anyone who leaves them on.
