im really into lotek, ive had them since they came out…

rich has always been go to me if my shoes go sour, but its gonna take a lot for me to drop another $75 on loteks…. ill have to wait until people get them and try them out to make sure the soul and the glue is alright, but other then that i like the way they came out this season….

Lotek Mixtape revolutionized BMX and started NEWSKOOL trends.

they have always had a killer team and the BROOKLYNS were the shit. they lasted longer and looked better than any lotek ever. BRING EM BACK!!

ive purchased at LEAST 10 pairs since then hoping they would get better but 3 footjams in and they start to rip and unglue. I really hope the shoes get better this coming from a LOYAL LOTEK supporter NOT some Orchid lovin hater.

if they would do a regular non-retarded colorway of the troop I would be psyched. lotek should bring back the old bob scerbo colorway troops. Those were great and the souls lasted forever. I went through my last pair of nightwolfs in under three months. kind of weird how they seem to just piss on the supporters because the bmx market is small enough that we will buy rider owned stuff no matter what.

I am running a pair of the old chase dehart loteks. fairly recent ones though. then they drop the V2 which is better. but why not make them good in the first place. wankers. either way, lotek wont get my custom EVER again. worst pieces of shit ive ever bought. sure ill give it to them that they look good. but i dont want that from my bmx shoes. I want shoes that can take a beating, and protect my feet from what bmx throws at them. surely it cant be THAT hard to combine form with function. you know what, Im gonna go out on a limb on record and say I KNOW i could make better shoes. Unfortunately, i know it wont happen because lotek has a huge following of riders that blows them for some reason, but i sincerely hope that market forces turns around and makes the company extinct.

I’ve had Airwalks for 4 years that are only just giving up the ghost now. These cost £30. If a BMX shoe cost twice what a skate shoe does and only lasts a few weeks, I’ll continue to buy skate shoes. Sort it out BMX industry. Loteks rip, and Orchids look like special boy shoes.

even though all my friends had bad luck with loteks, i still went out and bought a pair of deharts.

I must have been fucking retarded. First week the glue started coming undone just from walking around. then one foot jam tail whipper rips a hole on the side right to my sock. At this point i didnt care anymore. So i rode in them. 2 weeks later my foot jam foot completely fell apart in the front. It looked like a fucking Banana.

Let’s also not forget that Lotek is owned/backed by TIP PLUS. A company who has fucked over several of the best pros and industry guys of the last decade. Multiple riders leaving tip/primo on bad terms and proven shitty shoes must mean something.

Lotek is cheap fashion and nothing more. I hope some of the Lotek riders will move on and stop leading kids to think this is a legit company.

I have NEVER bought a pair of Loteks and I’ve been riding for years. I always buy shoes made by skate companies; usually Emerica because they have a huge variety of bad-ass looking shoes that come in all kinds of color ways. Also, because they last a good while.

With that being said, Loteks are gross anyway. There’s this guy I rode with a few times and he wears the burgundy Nightwolfs. His shoes look like fucking potatoes.
