New Madera Sprocket

Madera‘s new spline drive sprocket, “The Helm” is now available in 25 tooth with 28′s coming in a couple weeks. You can get ‘em in black, black, and black.

    Its good to see somthing intelligent in terms of making a new sprocket. But I find with my powerbites and coalition 7k sprocket, the little sprocket bolt holds up great, never had it break.

    where are the 30t versions? Plus I would love to tst one of these to see how well they survive multiple sprocket bashes and grinds and the worst ledges possible. Hint Hint Coplon, same with the 7075 pegs.

    id love spline drive but do they have “slop” with chain tension? what happens when lots of lateral pressure is on it from a (missed) grind? will the aluminum pop off the insert?

    I dont see how they could. The sprocket (aluminum section) is pinched between the cone spacer and the crank arm. I dont see how it could slide off of the sprocket, even with a missed grind.
