New Shitluck Shirt.

21
Shouts to Leland, I believe this is an upcoming Shitluck design. FACT: Rollerblades are cooler than fixies. Well… maybe if they would quit wearing sweatpants so religiously it’d be cooler.

props. i’m still reeling after seeing that cunt with pegs on his fixie. do unimpressive tricks if you want, but please don’t bastardize our pegs.

  • matt

    i’d rather be blazing.

  • stefan

i’d rather be on my fixxie.

  • hypocrite

I’ve seen Leland riding a fixed gear, in fact, he’s in a fixed gear bike club.

  • http://www.mirraco.com Dave Mirra

    rollerbladings sweeter than skateboards imo

  • http://raysmtb.com Bobby D

Fact: any stunts on fixies is lame as hell. barspins, wallrides, etc., are meant for bmx. However, catch a skitch on a fix gear bike, start passing cars at 40mph, approach a read light and either mash through it or rip a gnarly skid and then you can tell me fixies are lame. Then again, you bmx elitists might be right; I should probably just drive my bmw to te other side of town. Oh, and if you’re gonna tell me to ride my bmx across town, it takes 3x as long, and time is money son…

  • grizz

To do 40mph on a fixed gear with a fairly standard ratio of 44/16 would require a cadence of 180rpm. in other words your feet going round 3 times per second. Good luck keeping that up for any kind of sustained hill. And if you ride a gear ratio much higher than standard then you’re not going to have any acceleration to pull away from that red light after “ripping a gnarly skid”.

Fact is, if you want to go fast on a bike then get a road racing bike. They have gears to deal with the different conditions and stop/start nature of riding in traffic. They also have geometry more suitable for going really fast, and brakes so you can go really fast without worrying how you are going to stop. For all but a very limited subset of riders, the fixed gear thing is all fashion.

  • http://properbikeco.com mike mastroni

that shirt is lame. fixies are cool and a great way to get a workout or strengthen up. just keep those wheels on the ground and its all good. but what do you expect from a company with “shit” in the name

  • civilization

i’d rather be wearing good clothes

  • durrrrrrr

mike mastroni just lost some points in my book. shitluck kicks ass.

  • Danimal

    yo grizz,

not tryin to bitch or argue or nothing but road bikes aren’t cheep dude. i wake up everyday and ride a fixed gear like its a road bike, in fact i ride it more than you would ever believe me. i also drive a mini van like its a bimmer. you take what you can get man.

  • anonymous

    shitluck is bmx

  • RICHARD

    Shitluck is a joke.

  • Bink

I completely disagree. That’s an idiotic statement. I despise the fixed gear scene, but they’re still bikes. If we can eliminate a few cars by making some dorks feel accepted in a group of clowns, then fuck it, why not? More money in the bike industry (FBM, Volume, some others I don’t really care about) is never a bad thing. I’d rather a pompadour-sporting, short short wearing goon puts money in Castillo’s pocket than the gas pump.

  • http://raysmtb.com Bobby D

fact is grizz, you sound like a dork. enjoy you cunt.

  • yeahright

not to bitch or argue, but danimal gave himself that nickname.

  • http://www.lightbulbemporium.edu Meth Enthusiast

Including the cost of the messenger bag and all the lattes I didn’t buy my 1400 carbon fiber geared road bike is much cheaper, and I am at least twice as fast as any fixie rider whilst looking only 43% as homo in my spandex.

  • jmartin

this shirt is straight up gay

  • Lance

Funniest shirt ever, I laughed super hard. I’ll be getting me one of these.

  • brig

opinion based statements are not facts. Americans should really evaluate their systems of knowledge and question the’facts’ daily.

  • H.G. Wells

Fuck you Danimal you dont ride shit! haha

  • Sandman

Why are you assuming everyone is American making those statements? This is the World Wide Web asshole.

And I think the shirt is funny.

  • http://www.fuckgas.org jimmy

all these moronic comments are exactly what I hate about BMX. as the guy behind the drawing of this shirt let me provide you a little insight… first off, this “fixed gear club” you speak of is not a club, nor is it fixed specific. we organize bike rides for people on bikes, any bike. second, I ride a fixed gear bike and a bmx bike and I will joyously wear this shirt while riding the fixed gear. lastly, it’s a fucking t-shirt you cunts! get over it and stop taking yourselves so seriously.

[...] So I designed one of the new Shitluck shirts and as you can figure, everyone, especially those that ride fixed gear bikes, are taking it a tad too seriously. I for one can’t wait to get these printed and start struttin’ my stuff in it doing some “gnarly skids” and what have you… as they say. [...]

so much hate! ill get one off jimmy the second they’re ready, cause i think they’re hilarious.

oh, and my two cents, bikes are good and good people ride them. who cares what the drivetrain or geometry is, i just rode 120 miles on my road bike with my roomie riding fixed, and both seemed to work fine.

i dont understand why you put so much hate toward fixie.i ride bmx since 20 years and i have a fixed gear to go around.i love both,it s different,i will never do tricks on a fixed gear because i don t see the point but i just respect those who feel like.this will never cause problem to bmx.i heard many bmx guys that was upset because the skaters was always hating them but you are just doing the same.how many fashion bmxer i have seen.
the way you act toward fixed gear rider just show how much you don t believe in bmx.bmx is strong and good enought and don t need to critizice other.
many pro bmx rider have fixed gear, and they are some of the pro who really show the world what bmx is about.
you are not showing a good image of bmx by hating other you just give the feeling that you are afraid.i mean it just ridiculous.
i don t kike hipster too but who care.
and remember that if you have a bmx today it because fixed gear was there.the first bike were fixed gear until the free wheel was invented
i love bmx but i m tired of hating bullshit,if you were a pro you would ride your bike and don t give a fuck about other.
track bike are part of the bicycling since many year.
    ok enought

  • http://Website eddy

i always thought track bikes were for the track

  • http://Website oldbentdick

    Dear Kids,

I think this shirt is funny, even though I ride a BMX influenced Milwaukee Bruiser fixed gear bike. With Profiles and lots of BMX inspired parts. “Oh your god” you say. “Get a fucking clue” you say. Oh children, why so much hate? Ignorance, perhaps?

Watch modified trials riders, true they look silly to most folks, but they can bunnyhop and do better manuals than even the greatest BMX riders. “Lies!” you say. No, not really. “Who cares?” would be a better response.

The lightweight track bikes of yore are obsolete. Heavier, better built bikes with better geometry on the rise. Oh no, they took ideas from BMX. Why do you care? I was riding BMX (and fucking your mom) before you were born, I rode threaded headset bikes and I saw RAD in the theater. Does that give me “street cred” (and let’s be honest, nearly all of you live in the suburbs, so perhaps “sidewalk cred” makes more sense)? No, and even if it did, what does that mean?

    Nothing.

Your hate is wasted. It’s a sign of impotence. I work and live in a real city. I like being able to ride the same bike to work and through traffic as I do to session a hip or fail to impress kids at skateparks. If I lived in the suburbs, maybe “sidewalk cred” would get me laid in the parking lot of a White Hen Pantry, Seven Eleven, or Wal Mart. But hey, I’m having fun and so what if you think my bike is lame or that you invented the bunnyhop or pegs (I’m glad you’ve made so much money on your ideas).

I like bikes. I like BMX bikes. I like fixed gear bikes. I like road bikes and downhill bikes. I like riding. I’ve ridden twenty miles on my old S&M and twenty miles on my fix and you can guess which one was faster and more comfortable.

But hey, impotent hatred worked well for those German socialists (Godwin’s Law, holla!)

you have to be the lamest person i’ve ever encountered hahaha. shut the fuck up you hypocrit looser.
fucken ‘i dont care about cred’ fuck off you tosser. you ARE the douche you try to describe in your post.

  • http://www.bostongeorgesaysfuckyou.com BostonGeorge

yeah the fixed is a great exercise bike when you strap in.

i lost mad weight and got way faster thanks to it. the tricks are stupid and ugly. FACT.

  • http://www.bostongeorgesaysfuckyou.com BostonGeorge

    blah blah blah.

this essay you wrote isnt going to help your argument or shed positive light on fixed gears. you are arguing with a bunch of 12-18 yr old who for the most part don’t know shit and won’t know shit because they are going to be too busy wrapping their life in bullshit.

have fun with bikes just never take them seriously.

  • fixieeeer

i fixie and rollerblade im buying it:)
