ive got 22mm primo hollows with an hb mid bb that ive been running for like the past 3 years. it hasnt given me any trouble at all. the hb that is. to get the spin back bc my drivers shot i just took off the side locking bolts. they serve no need at all if you have the allen bolts tightened enough.

that and are we that vain enough to need weight specs on a damn bb?

The point of a cone spacer is to space the crank arm from the bb, not seal anything.

Ok to be honest I meant that these cranks have the same design as the Fly/Colony Cranks which utlize the same spindle..just for your info any company that produces a product with a similar design has to change said part by 10% i.e. the new Crank Arm shape on the Subrosa’s which honestly isn’t any stronger then previous shapes. However I will agree with the crank arm slide theory.

mine are 3 years old and somewhat bent from tossing the rig but other wise in great shape.

serious. all you gotta do is not take your cranks on/off all the time and grease the bearings and spindle and youll get away with cleaning them maybe 3 times a year. mine have the same grease pack from last spring.

my neighbor makes mine. get em for 5 a pop. he’s redone my hubs, headset and bb bearings and shell. he worked for bianchi for 20 years and then retired. so dont judge, there’s plenty of people willing to use nicer product than your fishbone bike guts, circa 1994.
