Eclat just sent over a press release naming Jeff Allen their new TM. They also mention their new distributor and the fact that they will be announcing a new team rider soon. No clue who it is yet but I’m sure whoever they pick will be well tailored for the job.
The official press release is just after the break.
Hi Everyone,
Some big changes are happening at éclat. First up, Brian Tunney is
stepping down as team manager for the brand. After taking a job with
ESPN, Brian simply didn’t have enough time to juggle both tasks. “I
deeply appreciate the opportunity to work with everyone at éclat and
wethepeople over the past few years, but the honest truth is, I just
don’t have time to do both jobs,” he said.Effective immediately, Boston area photographer/BMXer Jeff Allen
(http://www.jeffphoto.net) will be handling team manager duties for
éclat BMX products. A graduate of the Art Institute of Boston,
Allen’s photos have been featured extensively in éclat advertisements
and catalogs since the company’s inception. Allen will handle TM
duties for Sean Burns, Chester Blacksmith. Ashley Charles and Darryl
Tocco, in addition to team photography, Web site upkeep and the
random happenings that come with being a BMX team manager. And if that’s not enough big news, éclat’s brand new line of
components is now available worldwide. We know it’s been a while
since éclat has been available in the U.S., but interested dealers
can get in touch with Seattle Bike Supply for the latest from éclat,
including the new Hannibal stem, integrated headsets, Gonzo Pivotal
seat and more. And finally, we’ve got a new team rider in the works. We can’t say
who just yet, but sit tight for an announcement. He is awesome.
