Fudger Thinks Chris Duncan Sucks Dicks.

So Ryan Fudger fucking hates Chris Duncan. Ryan usually seems pretty grumpy about something or other, but Duncan got on his nerves to the point that he wrote a blog about it. It seems that he was prompted to write about Duncan on the basis of this interview that Tunney did with him, since they appeared literally 3 posts apart on my RSS. Duncan is often annoying and probably pretty mentally unstable as far as I can tell, but he doesn’t really seem like a bad dude. But then again I don’t know shit about the subject and more importantly, don’t care. The whole beef is a shame too since before Duncan’s stoke value plummeted it seems like Ryan and Chris used to be good friends, based on the photo above.

    I’m fairly convinced we have a case of one dude posting 15 comments. But either way, this has already surpassed how much I care about this subject. I love Tunney. I don’t hate Duncan and while I’ve heard rumors about other people, I’ve never heard anything about him sucking dicks. What I don’t care is to see more of him. If newer riders knew how lame this dude was before he turned goofy on the Internet, they wouldn’t either.

    I really like Tunney’s interview because C.D. was forthright about having mental issues. BMX needs to recognize that it involves all kinds of people–old riders, young riders, people who are straight ahead, focused and businesslike (Nigel, Mirra), people who are off the edge (Metal BIkes, Burns), and people who have been through some shit and might be mentally unstable from time to time. Just focusing on the coffee acheivers is a bit boring. However, I can also see where Fudger is coming from…C.D. is a bit of a one man media circus. I dig the guy’s viewpoint, but he’s falling into complete solipsism. The self-obsession seems like it might be a side-effect of a paranoid schizophrenic outlook.
