Introducing Krafty Bike Distro.

Prior to getting involved with “the industry” (I can’t type that with a straight face), I didn’t even know what a BMX distro was. It was like how I though babies were made prior to 3rd grade. I knew somehow babies came to exist, but never really wondered how. Similarly, I knew bike parts made their way into shops, but I never really questioned how. Completely unrelated to the act of creating children through procreation, there’s a new distro here in America called Krafty that will be selling Deluxe, BSD, Life? and Ripshit, check out the above ad in full and their press release after the jump.

A coming together of like-minded individuals has launched a brand new BMX distribution company out of Midwest USA. March 2010 sees the announcement of Krafty Bike Distribution being open for business, and KBD has already hit the ground running with four brands — namely BSD, Life?, Ripshit Clothing, and Deluxe BMX – and with a solid team running the company; co-owners Eric Block and Kyle Barrows are joined by Scott Towne and Marlowe Buelvas in sales. Between these guys there are decades of BMX industry experience ready to serve dealers and take the brands to the next level.

“We look forward to building new relationships with shops and riders in the coming future, and will continue to keep the coffee flowing while staying up late as we expand the information on this

site, pack up your orders, check out new product, and find some time to ride our bikes.” says Eric Block.

Grant Smith from BSD said, “BSD is stoked to be working with new company Krafty Bike Distro in the US. The guys behind Krafty have years of experience in the BMX industry, perfect for setting up a distributor. BSD has a lot planned for this year, so 2010 should be an exciting year for all of us.”

Mark Noble from Deluxe BMX explained, “We definitely feel we have good untapped potential for Deluxe BMX in the States, and now with the team at Krafty I believe we finally have what it takes to take Deluxe to the next level. It’s a great team of riders who really understand the industry and can definitely work together to do good things.”

“In launching Krafty, we are dealing with a select few manufacturers who are not only contributing high quality products that raise the bar in function and design, but have demonstrated without question a lifelong dedication to BMX.” – Eric Block, co-owner, Krafty Bike Distribution.
