Press Rewind: Ryan Nyquist in “End Search”
This is what happens when a dude so iced out with X-Games medals he can’t get out of bed decides to put work in on a full video section.
Read post →Press Rewind: Alex Donnachie: Crankslide Hard 180.
Yes, we’re rewinding so liberally that an edit from 10 days ago is getting revisited. Alex Donnachie does a crank arm grind to hard 180 in this. And there are like 50 other amazing tricks. Bar to nose jam on a set of handlebars? I have no words.

It’s the weekend bitch. So we’re dragging up some of our all time favorites to give you something to get down to while the BMX internet industry takes a break. Here’s an obvious classic: the TWW promo. Pure English street brutality.

1. Clement Baes Welcome to DUB Edit
DUB’s new French connection starts his stay off with the brand in style, with a wild street edit. If you ride street, I’m sure you’ll love this.
2. Brian Yeagle Welcome To Tree Edit
Brian Yeagle has so much bike control and style, it’s no wonder that a brand like Tree would snatch him up. This is the type of riding you could just watch all day.
3. Wolfman Quintin Edit
Wolfman goes fast and handles some really ballsy stuff for his new Quintin edit. I was really impressed when I first saw it, and am still after watching it again.
4. Steven Moxley in the Sour Fever DVD
If you like insanely tech ramp riding, look no farther. Steven Moxley unleashes a barrage of wild park moves for his Sour Fever DVD part.
5. Alex Kennedy and Simone Barraco in Israel Edit
Nike put these guys up in Tel Aviv for 12 days and got them a filmer, and did it ever pay off. These two demonstrate a level of skill that very few can match right now. Almost any clip could have been the banger.
6. Glenn Salyers in South Bend Edit
Glenn takes it to the streets and shuts down a bunch of spots in South Bend that I’ve never seen before. Awesome all around.
7. Craig Passero: Lotek “Fader” Shoe Promo
Originally Craig’s “BMXFU: Guy Stuff” DVD part, it’s been re-branded for Lotek and it is unbelievable. To say that Craig Passero is underrated doesn’t even begin to cover it.
8. Subrosa Lahsaan Kobza at El Mirage
Lahsaan causes a ruckus at a park in AZ, jumping over sleeping girls, almost hitting skaters, and putting down a ton of hot lines in between.
9. Animal At The Bakery
Mike Brennan, Butcher, and Jared Washington put The Bakery to use in a way that we’ve never quite seen previously. So street, so good, and Butcher is still on the top of his game after all these years.
10. The Con Mixtape
The Con Mixtape is 12 minutes of clean, crisp HD goodness featuring Bruno Hoffman, Max Gaertig, Boy Janhssen and many more. It’s all good, but towards the end it gets way over the top.
Here are a few non-video posts from this week that may be of interest:
Colony’s 7th Birthday Flipbook
Colony Bmx recently celebrated their 7th birthday as a brand and created a flipbook to commemorate the event. They also uploaded their 2007 DVD A Month in the Life of. Check them both out after the jump.

Chad Kerley Vitaminwater Invitational Results

The results are in for what might have been the best, most progressive contest of 2012. Everyone riding looked like they were having a blast and there were so many wild moves & NBD’s that went down. John Hicks was in the house to cover the event for TCU, so be on the look out for his edit to pop up soon. Big shoutout to Chad Kerley, Brian Kachinsky & Vitaminwater for putting on an awesome contest.

Aaron Smith is pretty young but his video influences go all the way back to American Muscle and Dead Sailor. He discusses those titles and rides a little plaza here.
Read post →[Re-up] Sean Morr Video.
It’s always a bummer to see a really dope web edit come out and not really get the attention it deserves. This is a prime example. I think this edit suffered due to a few factors: It came out on a day in which a bunch of other high profile edits came out, we didn’t sticky it or anything and it was off the first page quickly. Sean Morr is the fucking man and everyone would be smart to give this another watch. Respect the predator.
Bobby Kanode On Stranger.
Kanode lubes his freecoaster with his own tears. Here’s a single clip welcoming him to the Stranger team.

When it comes to getting stuff for free, companies these days usually make you jump through a bunch of hoops and in some cases, sell your soul (see #5). So I’m pretty stoked to see Primo riders Jackson Ratima & Lee Dennis, along with Federal riderJared Washington straight up giving a bunch of stuff away in New York and New Jersey this week (5/10-5/18). So if you’re in the area, give the dudes a follow, keep your timelines updated and come up on some free stuff!
Federal’s Michal Šmelko in Barcelona
This video takes a minute to get started but once it does, Federal Flow team rider Michal Šmelko shreds a bunch of well-known and a few not-so-well-known spots in Barcelona. I won’t give away the last line, but it made this edit worth sitting through.
Read post →Williamsburg Gap To Rail Resurrected

Darryl Nau just posted this on Instagram/Twitter a few hours ago. I remember hearing that the rail was still in the park after being taken down last month, so I guess someone decided to put it back up. Could have been the city, or just a random person, but whoever did it, a legendary NYC spot is now back to normal and apparently the rail is way more sturdy. I remember it being really shaky last year, which makes Jeff Martin gap to tire riding it and Craig Passero double peg hard 180ing up it even more insane. I wonder if anyone got anything done on the single rail setup during the month it was there…
Dennis Enarson: “MARKIT Will Be A Denim Company”

Dennis Enarson, who will hence forth be known as Denim Enarson, has a good interview over on Defgrip where he sheds some light on Markit as a brand:
“This is my first time saying this publicly, but it is going to turn into something much more then just a crew. MARKIT will be a Denim company focusing on making quality jeans.”
He also says that the highly anticipated Markit video will be released next year on iTunes.
Javi Castilla & David Discordia’s Gran Canaria Trip Edit
I’m posting this purely for the banger. Not to say that there isn’t some other good riding in it, but the banger is one of those “Holy shit!” clips that needs to be seen.

Dan Nielsen, Evan Johnson, Sam Bussell, Billy Fox, Drew Barker, and Ben Paulson hit up the same park with all types of different styles. They all make what they do look easy, even though we know better than that… especially for some of Dan’s tricks.
