“The “King of BMX Park” managed to gather a crowd at Red Bull Local Hero
Tour in Caracas this weekend, in what was the first public performance ever
for Daniel Dhers in his country, Venezuela. About three thousand people
gathered every day last weekend, starting Friday and ending Sunday in order
to see the world champion and his friends in action…”

After traveling the world and having a triumphant year, Daniel Dhers, 23,
originally from Caracas, brought the victory home when he managed to make
so many people stop by and enjoy each of the eight performances he carried
out this weekend.

Dhers has recently won his second gold medal at the X Games and his third
overall park title at AST Tour, and he confessed his excitement and how
thankful he was for all the support he received. “I expected an audience,
but not so many people. I am truly surprised for all the people that came
to see me and all the excitement they expressed in each one of my tricks”.
