A hop barspin isn’t really anything to write home about, but recently while I was out riding with fellow Come Up-blogger, Mike Mastroni and seemingly-autistic photographer Scott Marceau, Scott decided to document Mike doing a barspin in a way that I haven’t seen before. What’s funny about this to me is that the reason we were sessioning this parking lot was because a truck was parked in front of a handrail where Mike was planning on doing a pretty banging maneuver and we were just killing time. If I were Mike I might have conserved my energy instead of doing 30 hop bars, but I guess that didn’t cross his mind. Spoiler alert, in case one of you is somehow able to identify this nondescript parking lot and then bafflingly guess the trick he wanted to do on the rail, Mike eventually gave up after 100+ bitch runs and a handful of failed, painful-looking attempts.
