When I saw this flyer I thought Animal might have a few tshirts & a couple of sprockets for sale, but after hitting this link, everything must go took on new meaning. There are 13 pages of stuff on sale. $20 v2 sprockets, $15 jeans, $10 New Era’s. What are you waiting for?

Animal’s Israeli connect and Simone/AK tour guide, Sar Levi, gets in a solid minute of footage on home turf in Tel Aviv before getting worked on a big three. I’ve been really into Richard Forne’s edits the last couple of years too, so this is definitely a good watch.

This is a departure from Steven’s previous web edits, in a good way, with a full 4+ minutes of street clips. Standout moves include the gap to unwaxed pedal grind 180 on the downledge, a bunch of weird bottom bracket/pedal grinds down some rail ledge setups, and a fufanu on a rooftop with presumably a huge death drop on the other side. So good. Spotted on Animal.

In the third episode of Nigel’s “Get Sylvester” series he talks about Animal and its ties to East Coast BMX. Its pretty cool to get a glimpse of the inside of the Animal warehouse, he also talks about working on a limited edition version 2 of the popular Nigel Seat. There is some riding in the end and some street clips of Ralph Sinisi which are always worth checking out.

Here are 17 seconds of clips from the new Skapegoat 6 DVD. Im about to watch the full video for the first time and I’m sure it will be awesome. Go get that.

The latest Animal ad features a crazy sequence of Max Gaertig with what I believe is the first ever double peg to icepick to hard 180 down a kinked rail. Over the years this rail has seen a number of firsts, including Jim C’s double peg to second stage crank arm, and I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s more to come. Video of this awesome trick can be seen in Max’s recently posted Grindhouse section.

When I first saw Animal‘s All Day I didn’t know what to think, the format was real unorthodox and all over the place. The video starts with a ton of raw clips with no music, then all of a sudden that Cam’ron intro comes in and some dude named Tom White eats shit over a fence as hard as possible. I’d heard rumors about how crazy this section was going to be but I’d never seen too many clips of Tom so I wasn’t sure what to expect. The few clips I had seen in old issues of Standpoint (Navaz’s old video mag) were different than what he was doing in All Day. He would do the shit that spots were asking for, like that hopover wheelchair ramp to toothpick grind down, all the weird 60/40 grinds, that hanger on the flat of a kinked rail, etc.

Always liked what Bob Scerbo did on the edit, cutting the clip in where Tom wu-tangs that roach, and they’re listening to that Cam’ron song in the car, then it comes in as the audio track for that first riding clip. Dope.

A few weeks ago Jared Washington, Mike Brennan & Butcher made the trek from New Jersey to Chicago to put in some time at The Bakery. After the jump, check out an excerpt from Butcher’s interview where he talks a little about his experience at The Bakery. Definitely looking forward to this one!

You went out to The Bakery last weekend?
Yeah, with Mike Brennan and Jared Washington. Edwin was supposed to go, but he didn’t make it; punk. (Laughter) It was a good time. Pretty much drove for a day, rode for like two or three days, then drove home. It was a good time. Chilled with Kachinsky. He’s a good dude; took us out to good spots to eat.

What did you think of The Bakery?
It’s a Lego-land for bikes. There are pallet jacks; you can move ledges around, you can pretty much make whatever you like. And if you can’t set up whatever’s there you can build it. It’s awesome; I wish I could have a lot more time there. There’s so much more I want to do there. I could never be finished there; I don’t think anyone would be. It’s endless.

When is that edit coming out?
I have no idea. To be honest, I didn’t even know we were going out there to film a Bakery edit. Brennan called me up and said we were going out there to chill in Chicago, ride some street and The Bakery. I was down for whatever. We get there, and Kachinsky was like, “We kind of film stuff a certain way, if you want to do something, we’ll set up some lights and cameras.” I was like, “Ok, so we’re doing an official edit here?” (Laughter) It was chill, but I wasn’t expecting that. It was really cool. The building itself is unbelievable. It’s a really weird place. There are so many things going on in there, like a flatland area, a R/C car track, a skateboard park, some kind of chop-shop in one area. I liked it. I can’t wait to go back to the Bakery.
