The “Nearly” DVD has some great sections in it. Seeing as Alex and his friends put a year into this project, it certainly deserves to be in the top ten.

2. Woodward West Winter Session
AJ Anaya, Austin Coleman, Chad Kerley, Dakota Roche, Devon Smillie, Eric Lichtenberger, Josh Betley, and Tom Dugan break in the new park setup at Woodward West. With names like those involved, there is no way it could fail to be a standout edit.

3. Ben Hittle Kink Bar Promo & New Kink Print Ad.
Ben Hittle can make the most basic tricks look amazing. If you appreciate that sort of thing, you must watch this.

4. Vans “Let It Ride 2011″ Team Two.
For videos like this, doing anything other than posting the rider list has to be a waste. Do you really need me to hype up a video that features Dakota Roche, Bas Keep, Gary Young, Ben Hennon, Eduards Zunda, and Tobias Wicke?

5. Dennis Erhardt Winter Eclat Edit
Dennis Erhardt is a name I really expect to hear more of this year. Dude deserves it. Nollie 360 to smith was butter.

6. Erik Elstran Welcome to Sunday Edit
Erik always amazes everyone with his incredibly unique tricks. He pushes it even farther for his Sunday welcome edit.

7. Ian Bengochea Bio.
Eight minutes of Bengo’s best footage. I had no idea he was this good until I saw it all in one edit.

8. Ratboy In “Shutdown”.
Ratboy is a legend, so when one of his video parts finally makes it from VHS to the internet, you better believe it makes the top 10.

9. Bobbie Altiser Welcome to Cement Face Edit
Bobbie always keep his edits full of creative tricks, so much so that I knew it would make the top ten before I even pressed play.

10. The Webbie Show
You probably never even thought of some of these tricks before you watched this edit. Video game status.

David Grant dropped a banger filled edit for BSD this week. The fact that all this great riding got done in just one week makes it even more impressive.

Some great park riding from Russia. Everything looks so easy for him!

3. ODSY Vision: Best of 2011
Odyssey had some great edits in 2011, so it should come as no surprise that the best clips from all of those edits mixed into one would be a standout video.

4. Chester Blacksmith’s “Anytime Now” Section
Chester Blacksmith’s WTP DVD part is completely insane. I think Chester is super under-rated after seeing this.

5. Vans “Let It Ride 2011″ Video.
Yes, Adam lit this one up when he posted it, but no one is arguing that the riding is really good. With a rider list like Dan Lacey, Bruno Hoffman, Kevin Kalkoff, Matthias Dandois and Alex Valentino, don’t pass it up due to some crappy filter.

6. Dakota Roche Cinema Video.
Dak is back with a wild edit. His hop abilities are unreal.

7. Peg Leg 2011 Promo.
The Peg Leg crew clocked some serious clips for their latest promo. Street.

8. Seth Kimbrough Video.
Seth has been in the game a long time, but shows no signs of slowing down. If anything, he just continues to get better. I love it.

9. Drew Hosselton on Volume Pro Edit
Drew shows exactly why he should be on a pro team with his welcome edit. Backwards icepicks like it’s nothing.

10. Crème de la Crème 2011
Every video that has ever come out of The Bakery has been a banger, so it’s obvious why a best of edit from some of the best videos of the year would be a must-see.

1. The New Skavenger Video
Skavenger surprised us all by releasing their DVD online this week. It’s 25 minutes of raw street, and it’s so good that it goes by like it’s about 5 minutes long. I’ll be watching this for months to come before I go ride.

2. Kevin Kiraly Verde Video.
Kevin put nearly 2 years into this edit, and it shows.

3. TCU Premiere: Drew Bezanson At Dennis’ Ramps.
Drew Bezanson has been making up for the time he lost with his head injury. This video not only has a ton of amazing tricks, but has a really fun, positive feel too. This is how it’s done.

4. Jake Seeley OSS Video
Jake Seeley fought through knee problems to get this edit done, but you’d never have guessed he was hurt from the riding.

5. Brad Simms Israel Video
The whole video is excellent, but that last clip just blows my mind.

6. Dane Searls: Giants of Dirt Part 3
Backflipping a 60 foot double. Amazing. R.I.P. Dane Searls.

7. Harry Main VX Edit.
Back in 1999 when I started riding, no one would have ever imagined that people would do 720s and backflips into wedges from a flat deck. What’s next? I can’t even begin to guess anymore.

8. Coastersaurus Changed My Life
Charlie decided to clear out all of his cassette footage, since he doesn’t plan on being on one any time soon. I’m guessing he wants his “Guy Stuff” DVD part to be all coaster, because I’d think plenty of this footage could have made a DVD cut.

9. Hot Butter Mixtape “On the Move”
Chase Dehart isn’t one of those guys that drops web edits all the time, so getting a full length section from him is awesome. The rest of his boys hold it down too, so don’t just skip to Chase, watch it all.

10. United “Downtime” DVD
The United team has done it again! Bangers everywhere, great variety of riding styles, well done filming and editing… United knows how to do it right!

A few of the biggest names in BMX let you in on what an average park session is like for them. Average for Corey Martinez and Nathan Williams is still better than a lot of people’s best videos.

2. Jason Phelan’s “Anytime Now” Section
Jason lets it rip for his WTP DVD part. Real man status, he doesn’t seem scared of anything.

3. Grant Castelluzzo Profile December Edit
Profile’s grind master is back on it again, dropping his pegs on everything he can find.

4. Jayson Johnson in California Edit
Jayson brings all of his style from Utah to California, and unleashes it on Woodward West and some cement parks in SoCal.

5. #weinthis Team Ohio Mixtape
You should already be familiar with the Team Ohio crew by now. This is a 17 minute mixtape from them. Even if you don’t think you have the attention span for 17 minutes, at least watch Ryan Howard’s part. That will probably convince you to give the rest a try.

6. The Package Volume 3
Focalpoint is doing some of the best web edit work right now in my eyes. Clean filming, crisp quality, and good looking tricks.

7. Eric Bahlman’s Welcome to Shadow Edit
Fun song, original style, and tight editing. This is how it’s done.

8. Phil Demattia Unit 23 Edit
Phil’s got crankflips everywhere, and sliders at will. It’s got an early 2000’s feel on some level, and it’s probably my favorite edit of the week.

9. Troy Tunney and Kyle Murway “Act Like You Know” Edit
Raw street skill. Pure and simple.

10. Dennis Enarson Markit Video
Dennis rides everything as if it’s his home turf, but when you get him on his actual backyard ramps… you can imagine how wild/dialed that gets.

Jeff Wescott headed out to Vegas to get away from the harsh winters in his home state of Illinois. He never slacks, so you should never skip one of his edits.

2. Ed Zunda Carhartt Edit
This was the first edit I posted of the entire week, and even then I knew it would be one of the best videos of the week. That good.

3. Stefan Lantschner Video
Stefan is one of smoothest guys around, and his banger is so scary. It’s must watch.

4. Bruno Hoffmann’s “Anytime Now” Section
Every edit that Bruno makes is fire, so you can imagine how good his DVD part is.

5. Zack Gerber Video.
Just more of the usual Zack Gerber footage. Of course, “the usual” for a Zack is ridiculous to everyone else.

6. Attila Godi Autumn Edit
I was really into his one, some people in the comments weren’t as much, but I still stand by my enthusiasm.

7. Calvin Kosovich One Footer Edit
Calvin Kosovich might be a new name to you, but it’s one you should get to know. Great style.

8. Joyride 150 Bike Park Video
Mike Gray, Steven Moxley, Drew B, and more talented riders go off at their home park. It’s a treat.

9. Denis Pavlov Hellride x United Edit
Not since Max Gaertig have I seen someone so casually fire out halfcab whips. Everything just looks too easy for him.

10. Alex Kennedy iPhone Video.
You never expect an iPhone edit to be really prime riding, but don’t make that assumption here.

1. Cinema X Fiend Tulsa Video.
Garrett Reynolds, Ty Morrow, Chase Dehart and JJ Palmere explore the plentiful street landscape of Tulsa, OK. When two of the most respected teams in BMX get together, you know it’s going to be nuts.

2. Eric Holley DOF V2/ Farewell Edit
Eric Holley is one of the most underrated street riders out there in my opinion, and his “Death of Fun” part should show you why I feel this way.

3. Sputnic Satellite Launch: Joey Motta
This guy does what he wants, and is having a great time. A perfect example of what BMX is about.

4. Mike Aitken & Tom Dugan Video.
It’s great to see Mike back on a bike, beginning to look like him old self some. Tom blasts to the sky as usual, but the 4 or so minute intro they put together is anything but usual. Pretty funny, though.

5. Pat Casey & Stevie Churchill Mystery Machine Promo
Whether you fancy dirt/park stunts or incredible street combos, this video has something for almost everyone.

6. Mike Gray Video.
Mike has been building up a name for himself lately from a handful of edits he put out, and he’s continuing to make a big impression with this one.

7. Verde BMX Welcomes Matt Priest Edit
Matt Priest’s riding was described in the comments by one person as having “Aitken flow”. That’s a pretty strong statement, but I can’t say it’s too far off from being correct, either.

8. Scotty Cranmer: Home Court Advantage.
Scotty Cranmer is a maniac, and to see him come up with all kinds of wild, creative lines at his home park is a treat.

9. Andrew Jackson’s “Anytime Now” DVD Section
I didn’t hear many people buzzing about this part when the DVD came out, and I have no idea why. Andrew Jackson went all in on this part. Do not miss it.

10. Dan Lacey ChainReactionBmx Team Edit
Wow, I just read the comments and not many shared my thoughts on the filming… but everyone could agree that Dan killed it, and that’s the most important part.

Chad Kerley, Dennis Enarson, Connor Lodes, Devon Smillie and more, all in one edit. You know these guys always produce the best clips, and this is no different.

2. Simone Barraco Vault Edit
Simone has come out of no where and made a huge name for himself this year. With edits like this, 2012 can only bring him greater success.

3. Paul Barnum Skavenger Video.
At just 17 years old, Paul already has some moves on him. I’ll be very interested to see where he’s at in a few years.

4. Chance Brejnakowski Summer Edit
Chance is a lip trick machine, can handle a box jump pretty well, too.

5. Soul Vid: Flat & Street Revolution
Video of the week without a doubt. 360 to nose manual 360. Welcome to the future.

6. Łukasz Pluta WTP & Eclat Edit
Fighting through the cold tempatures can’t be fun. But you couldn’t tell from Łukasz’s riding.

7. Daniel Juchatz 55DSL Edit
I’m really into the editing on this one, and the riding is on point too.

8. Nearly 2 Premiere Edit
Alex D premiered his DVD at Unit 23, and brought his camera along. Good move, because the session after the premiere was crazy!

9. Matt Houck Mutiny Bikes Edit
This might not be full of bangers, but something about this edit just feels right. Seeing an entire video without any fisheye is pretty cool in my book.

10. AOTC2: CB Coombs
Admit it, you like this song.

Christian started of the week with an insanely good edit. It was made even more unbelievable by the statement that he’s been working on some projects, making it sound like these are not his best clips he’s filmed lately.

2. Nathan Williams Eclat Welcome Edit
You know to expect some of the smoothest, yet wildest riding from Nathan, and once again he delivers.

3. Tony Malouf “One Fine Day” BSD Edit
Tony only needs about 24 hours to produce an edit that is one of the best of the week. Impressive.

4. 20 Zoll Originals: Tobias Wicke
Tobias has been off the web edit radar for a while, but he returned this week and shows that he still has all his wildly tech tricks he’s known for.

5. Tom White In Animal “Cuts”
Tom White’s ‘Cuts’ section was one of the stand outs of the entire disc. Considering that it was one of the longest BMX DVDs I’ve ever seen, that’s pretty impressive.

6. Tony Neyer Verde Video
Tony starts his stay with Verde off with a short, but sweet street edit from California.

7. Etnies Welcomes Corey Martinez Edit
Corey didn’t rush into making a “Welcome” edit for Etnies. Instead, he took his time and came out with an edit that would stand out from the rest. Good choice.

8. Seventies “OurHouse” Warehouse Video
The DUB crew came through to the Seventies Warehouse and broke the place it right.

9. We The People “Occupy New York” Video
The We The People team visited New York City and took advantage of the legendry spots, and maybe even a few new ones.

10. Felt Bikes Devon Smillie Edit
Devon Smillie is now a California resident, and if his first edit in his new home state is any sign of things to come, I can’t wait.

Despite all the negative comments, I’m sticking with my impression that this was a top ten edit this week. It’s worth watching to see the spots alone.

4. Slide Box Arnaud Wolff Video.
I’d never heard of Arnaud Wolff before this edit, but I hope to see plenty of him in the future. So good.

5. Killjoy Trailer
This video is going to be amazing. Elf, Cameron Wood, Dave Thompson, Rob Wise, Tate Roskelley, Matt Beringer, and Mike Aitken. The trailer looks pretty rad, it’s always cool to see the unique stylizing that Jordan Utley brings to the table.

6. Ryan Howard Dub Video.
These clips are all leftovers from Ryan’s last DVD. Stupid good.

7. Cooper Brownlee Ten Clips Edit
Cooper handles his “Ten Clips” edit with his signature smooth style.

8. Drew York Verde Video.
Drew rides like an absolute madman for his latest Verde edit. Beast.

9. Simone Barraco On Shadow Pro.
Simone shreds everything in his path, proving just how deserving he is of this flow to pro team bump.

10. Banned Lost Tape Gainesville, FL
This is awesome, yet a little sad at the same time. We get new Rickey Bates footage, which is great, but also knowing it’s some of the last is depressing. It’s not just Rickey though, the whole Banned crew is featured, and they all do some wild stuff.

Most of what Alex does doesn’t even seem possible. The last clip surely doesn’t.

5.The Bakery Special Recipe: Premium Products
Chad Kerley, Connor Lodes, Dan Foley, Josh Harrington, and Sean Ricany give The Bakery all they’ve got.

6.Jack O’Reilly Federal Edit
Jack really comes through for Federal with this one. Four minutes of street, and a number of banger clips.

7.Steven Hamilton’s ìThe Day is Overî Section
Considering how fast BMX moves these days, it’s crazy that a video section could still be relevant this many years laterÖ but I feel like this one does.

8. Brock Olive Lux Edit
This short edit of Brock skips the filler clips and just gets right down to business.

9.And Forks: Devon Smilie At Laguna Skatepark.
This is And Forks’ first edit, and they are starting things off quite well, I’d say.

10.Clement Carpentier’s ìJust For Funî Edit
Clement’s riding in this doesn’t match the chill sound of the title. This is over four minutes of amazing street.
