Chase Dehart takes it back to his roots and hits up street spots in New Jersey for his latest Dan’s Comp edit.

Chase Dehart has a good interview and bike check up where he discusses why he doesn’t ride 4 pegs, how he still does serious stuff all the time without a filmer and how having a son has changed his life:

“I guess the only thing is I try to make the day count, but I’ve tried to make the day count my whole life, so that hasn’t really changed. There is never a point where I’m out there like, “Fuck dude, I better get some tricks, I got a mouth to feed.” That would be the corniest shit ever. Riding is riding, it’s something I literally love to do, I’m genuinely a rider—I love doing it and that’s my approach since day one.”

Chase Dehart has an interview on ESPN where he drops the bomb that he’s going to be the first Cult team member to get a signature frame:

“My tires just came out with red and orange sidewalls, and in the next month or two, they will be coming out in white wall and gray wall. Also right now I’m riding a prototype Cult frame: the ‘Butter’ frame. I guess you’d say my signature frame, I don’t know. The other frames were coming in with higher stand over heights. I wanted to keep it low and basically pretty similar to the old version of the OS frame with a few little things added. I’m real happy with it, it’s exactly what I want to ride. Keep an eye out for it!”

He also talks about how he’s now just about done filming for the Cult DVD and working on his Dans Comp section, his upcoming Dig interview, the possibility of his son rollerblading and more.

Fit continues to release sections from their “Stay Fit” DVD. This time around it’s Chase Dehart, who is pretty much the definition of “smooth” when it comes to street riding.

In case you were just too damn cool to watch Chase’s whole 16 minute long Hot Butter Mixtape, here’s his section which ends the video. Chase wants to act like this is all leftover footage, but in my opinion it’s just as good, if not better than his other recent video parts.

This appears to be a local scene video filmed in the Jersey area. I’m going to make sure you watch it by pointing out that Chase Dehart is in it (who, by the way just had his son, congrats Chase) but the whole thing is pretty solid in general.
