Allan Cooke hit me up just to clear things up regarding yesterday’s “Premium Disses Fit” post:

“I, as I am sure you did grew up on the genius that is Chris Moeller, I love the controversy that always surrounded him at the BMX track. Fights at the finish lines, little Chinese kids in welding kits in ad’s, I got mad respect for the dude and just want to see what comes of it. The best part of the whole thing is as we are all laughing at the comments this morning one of the accounting lady’s comes out of her office holding the Sports Chalet sale paper all stoked, ” Look Haro has an ad in the Sports Chalet sale Paper”, we all just about hit the floor laughing, what timing. Good times, thanks man.

P.S. I don’t care if you post this too, all in fun. Freestyle Fixies, Hahaha

So that’s that. Also, Moeller called me out for modifying one part of the email. In the email I said:

“Haha no it doesn’t confuse me at all that that happened, it confuses me that Allan Cooke is calling Fit out for it.”

Which I changed to:

“Not really, the fact that Premium seems offended by it confuses me.”

This obviously doesn’t change the intent of the sentence at all, I did so because I realized Allan didn’t author the original post on the site. Regardless, my apologies to Chris if he feels like this was misleading in any way. Chris also cited it as an example of me changing details to “fit my agenda”. Since Premium and Fit both advertise on this site, what would have most suited my agenda would have been to not post anything about this yesterday. My main motivator however isn’t money, it’s posting things that will interest and inform the BMX riders who frequent this site. If you want to read BMX news written by guys who care more about ad dollars than their readers, well, you already know there are quite a few sites that you would be better off checking.

Despite what many of you anonymous commenters think, there isn’t a gun to your heads forcing you to check this site, if you don’t like the things I write on here, feel free to leave and never come back, I won’t miss your page views.

For the record, I’m not taking sides on this. I respect Chris Moeller as a businessman about as much as I could respect anyone. And I consider Robbie a friend and think he’s unbelievably talented at what he does and think he’ll continue to be successful in the future. Don’t take any of these pictures serious, we’re just taking the piss out of the situation.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I’ve purchased the movie rights for the Fit/Robbie split, so don’t even think about it. I’m currently in talks with Chad Shack and Steven Spielberg to film/direct. Above is our best guess at what the DVD art will look like.

Chris Moeller has an interview up on ESPN all about his day to day routine over at S&M.

Tunney wrote up a article about the origin of the barspin over on the ESPN blog. It had Chris Moeller’s part from an old S&M video which had a barspin in it. Definitely a good read for sure. Imagine landing a half barspin on vert? That would be so scary!

I know posting about this twice in a week is a little much, but I am so into Chris Moeller’s Q&A thread. So far my personal highlights include claiming that he’s never spoken to Brian Castillo before and this quote:

“Who really thinks 10 year old girls weld frames in China with one shoe on? Every 10 year year old girl welder I’ve seen in China has two shoes.”

I’ve been slacking hard on the whole Pro Q&A forum but Chris Moeller is the newest addition. He said he gets a ton of questions in his Email and that this might help… enjoy!
