When I first saw this section, I had two reactions:

1) This is probably the most epic flat ledge section of all time.

2) Whether you like his riding or not, Chris Z puts in work. He rides a ton, films a ton and I think you actually get a feel for that through this section.

Chris Z has got to be one of my favorite people on earth and a very large part of the reason for that is I just love making fun of him and watching him frantically defend himself/give me shit back. I mostly do this when I see him in real life but I figured I’d give the whole “trying to provoke Chris Z” thing a try on TCU. So here’s everything I want to give you shit about in this edit, Chris:

1) 00:03 blatantly holding up his bike so that Chris Long will see his Demolition sticker.

2) Nice Odd Future song. You fucking hipster.

3) 00:25 Stop.

4) 00:32 grinding wood at the skatepark, pretending to be street.

5) 00:39 Blatant Ty Morrow parody clip over a weird penis ghost thing.

7) 00:56 Look, I use those other 2 pegs sometimes.

All that being said, this edit is really good and I already watched it 3 times while making this post so I guess that counts for something. Chris is writing an article for TCU that I’m really stoked to get up about how to film properly with a DSLR so look out for that soon.

“I went out to Long Island to hang for New Years and to ride with Denny Pascasio, Chris Zeppieri, and Pauly Cvikevich. It was bitter cold, and we had already been kicked out of the park; but after some wise words from Pauly, they backed off and we got a quick session in. All filmed in about an hour.

Batman returns to take back the night.
