FBM just dropped this edit of Eric Hennessy riding some cement parks and trail around the Santa Cruz area. Hennessey has a classic style that I’m really into and does a heel clicker in this edit, which is always awesome.

The FBM dudes just did a remix of the intro to their DVD “Thousand Yard Stare“. Wild tricks, gnarly crashes and dogs humping… FBM through and through.

I am posting this for the sheer fact that the newest FBM video, Thousand Yard Stare, is amazing and you should own it. All you need to do is buy a FBM frame from Dans Comp and you’ll get one. RIP Mike Tag.

It’s a very Magilla week. Fresh on the hells of his awesome new Thousand Yard Stare section, here’s an older Gilly classic from FBM’s 2001 classic, All Time Low. While Gilly’s new section is all trails, this section shows Magilla in his younger days, doing barspin tailtaps to fakie on street spines and roasting kinked rails. Legend status, plain and simple.

FBM’s Thousand Yard Stare has definitely been one of the more enjoyable DVD releases of the year and in honor of FBM’s new Steadfast frame dropping, they decided to put Gilly’s section online. I absolutely adore this part, the song works perfectly and Magilla’s riding is classic.

This came out almost a year ago so any claims of song jacking are invalid.

A classic Steve Crandall story from the life of Mike Tag seems like a fitting way to start off the week. Here he explains how the infamous “back of the neck” catch phrase came to become an integral part of the BMX lexicon. It’s pretty funny to think that me and all my friends would run around quoting it all the time without ever knowing where it came from (and then years later I became obsessed with a local Boston tough guy hardcore band of the same name, who definitely didn’t know anything about BMX).
