Ben recently parted ways with Odyssey/Full Factory Distro. Good to see he’s found himself a new home with Fit. Here’s what Moller has to say:
“I originally started talking to Ben about working on new part designs and drawings but after he flew out from Austin and stayed with me for a few days I could tell he had a lot more to offer. Ben’s a good dude and he definitely knows BMX inside and out. We have a great thing going on over here these days, and it just got a lot better. Ben will be dealing with the magazine and web guys, traveling with the team, showing up at events, helping to design products and soft-goods, and bringing it all together here at The Building to make cool shit.” – Chris Moeller

Some members of the S&M and Fit team (Jackson Ratima, Mike Hoder, Eddie Cleveland and filmer Marco Svizzero) were in town last week to film some stuff for upcoming video projects and to check out the King Of New York contest. There’s a dope slideshow of photos Marco took from the trip, including one of the craziest gap to tire rides I’ve seen courtesy of Hoder:

Also, note the numerous photos of 4Loko, which left everyone on the trip, and anyone they hung out with both mentally and physically scarred:

I’ve been waiting 2 years to announce this shit. Edwin and Tom White have left Fit. If you haven’t been living under a rock lately, you’ve probably heard that they will both be riding for Skavenger, Animal’s new frame line.
Check out a retrospective of Ed’s time on Fit with lots of great classic photos and some words from his former teammates on Fit.
RUMORS: If you look at the Animal team you’ll notice that most of them have left their sponsors over the past few years (Tyrone left Rideline, Scerbo quit S&M, Vinnie got the boot from Sunday, Lino quit 2Hip etc) so it’s pretty easy to see who most of the Skavenger team will be. It’ll be interesting to see if anyone else who has an existing frame sponsor leaves to ride for Skavenger and if any younger dudes end up on the official team.
Also, I’ve heard Lino and Butcher will have signature frames but that’s far from confirmed.
