I had no idea this video was happening and don’t remember a single thing Charlie filmed for it, but it’s pretty funny regardless:
“In preparation for the premiere of the brand new OSS DVD “Football,” OSS team rider/ESPN contributor Charlie Crumlish put together the above edit, detailing some times in and around the OSS House in Austin, Texas this past winter and early spring. Featuring OSS team riders Jake Seeley, Rory Ellis and sandwich artist Kareem Wiliams, who seems to believe no one understands what he’s actually saying. Here’s Charlie’s take on his Austin experience: “I was lucky enough to be staying at the OSS house during SXSW and a bunch of us worked jobs that were available for the festival week. Adam22, Alex Platt and I were bouncers at a bar for a few days, and oddly enough Byron Anderson, former Shadow Conspiracy pro rider was our boss. The job consisted of basically no bouncing whatsoever.” Check the video in preparation for the OSS premiere, which goes down next week at Post Bikes in Brooklyn, N.Y. Enlarge the accompanying flyer for full premiere info. Video by Charlie Crumlish.”
Sunday got Alex Magallan, Jake Seeley and Eric Lichtenberger together and had them ride Sunday completes straight out of the box to show that they are top notch and ready to go from day one. The Funday completes even have 13.25 chainstays, just like the aftermarket Funday frames do.
I’m in a very loud hotel lobby right now and wouldn’t be able to hear this if I tried, but I remember this night very well and recall it being very funny. Watch as literary genius Kareem Williams squares off with Jake Seeley in a spelling bee.
Put together by photographer of the stars, Scott Marceau.
Ride’s got some new wallpapers up including the above one of Jake Seeley grinding on his rear peg. There’s also a great shot of Alex Magallan and even a rail move from TCU blogger MikeM (the last M is rumored to stand for Moe), all here.
Jake loves making nano edits because they show a lot of chill, non-theatrical stuff and are all about the good times. Check out Sunday’s Australia adventure in nano-vision.
Recently this company Drop Dead hit me up telling me that a) they love Surfing Beans and b) they wanted to sponsor a BMX rider. I hooked them up with Jake Seeley. Dozens of free t shirts arriving later, he’s got a page up on their site with a write up I wrote. We’ve already talked a little about doing a TCU x Drop Dead shirt for Jake in the future so keep an eye out for that.
Just as a forewarning, there’s not really too much riding in here…that’s all in part two. Here you will get a peek into the pill poppin’ mind of Scott Marceau featuring mostly random flipcam footage from our house crew here in Austin. Some highlights include Chase D. almost getting arrested, our friend Grady and his 24 beer can wizard staff, our dog Gucci Bear gettin’ some, training for football season by pushing the van home, and even a guest appearance from what may or may not be Morgan Wade himeself…
Super stoked to see this because it’s got an Austin Immigrants article featuring Mike Mastroni, Jake Seeley, Alex Magallan and Garrett Reeves, all current occupants of our house out here. Also happy to see Tom Dugan getting the cover, he’s got a shitload of momentum going for him right now coverage-wise. Check the full cover after the jump and check out the contents list here. Props uploaded this section from the Megatour DVD for us… it features Rory Ellis, Chase Dehart, Jake Seeley, Ben Hittle, Blackman and Muffinman. In some ways, it was the worst trip of my life, but in other ways it was awesome and we had a real good time.
Also we have a poll going on TCUB to see which Road Fools will be uploaded next Friday! Go here, vote, and next Friday a section of your choosing will be uploaded.
