At first I thought not to post this because of the video from yesterday but fuck it, Aitken’s the man. So good to see him back on a bike, killing it as usual. Will we see an Aitken video part in 2010?

It’s not news that Mike Aitken is back on his bike, but any little footage of him is worth a post I think. Check out a quick clip of him on Fit. He is just flowing a skatepark (which, based on the fact that there have already been photos of Mikey grinding up rails online, probably doesn’t surprise you) but it’s still Aitken.

If this doens’t get you psyched on riding I don’t know what would. Seen on 5050.

This popped up on Twitter earlier today. Awesome! It’s amazing to see how far Mikey is coming in such a short period of time. His story is incredibly inspirational. Consider that 9 months ago it was a big deal for him to even pedal around and do a 180 (for which he earned 111 comments), this is pretty amazing. Check the rail in question after the jump.

Just saw this up on 5050, sheds some light on Mikeys crash and how he is doing right now. Its so crazy that its been less then a year and he’s already come so far toward a full recovery. That dude is seriously awesome.

MIKE AITKEN FROM ODYSSEYBMX.COM

The latest from Odyssey’s ongoing series of Electronical sections. Have any of you really not seen this yet? It’s good. Not good like his “That’s It” section that he filmed around the same time, but still good. Sucks they removed the music from his 50/50 section, someone oughta get on it and put that part on Vimeo with the original music intact.

Oddly this has been online for approximately a month, but this is my first time seeing it and according to the Youtube stats, none of the other big BMX sites have posted it either. Weird. Anyway he seems like he’s doing way better than the last time I saw a video interview with him and really his recovery has been pretty amazing.
