Some members of the S&M and Fit team (Jackson Ratima, Mike Hoder, Eddie Cleveland and filmer Marco Svizzero) were in town last week to film some stuff for upcoming video projects and to check out the King Of New York contest. There’s a dope slideshow of photos Marco took from the trip, including one of the craziest gap to tire rides I’ve seen courtesy of Hoder:
Also, note the numerous photos of 4Loko, which left everyone on the trip, and anyone they hung out with both mentally and physically scarred:
Randy Brown, Cameron Wood, Matt Beringer, Aaron Bostrom, Mike Hoder, and Tony Cardona are the riders in S&M’s new “S.A. to the Bay” DVD, which is being duplicated right now. The trailer doesn’t give too much away, but judging by the line up alone, it should be awesome.
Mike Hoder has a bike check on S&M, rocking a new frame called the BTM. S&M has a long history of naming their frames with 3 letter acronyms, but I either missed what this one stands for or it hasn’t been stated publicly already.
Also, Hoder 360s El Toro in the new issue of Ride and if you‘re smart, you might be able to find a scan of the photo online.
Here we have some more info about the premiere for S&M’s first quarterly DVD of the year (yes, they are really planning on dropping 4 videos this year):
“Here’s the web fliers for this Monday (May 3rd)’s S&M Bikes “QP#1″ BMX Video Premiere! Marshall “Stack” Reid Manik Skateboards 3300 Wallingford Ave. N Seattle, WA 98103 206.890.2297″
Hoder has a full part in this thing and I think it’s safe to say that he isn’t going to let anyone down, at least we know what 1 clip in his part will be.
Never heard anything about these before and they aren’t even on the list of bars on the S&M site, but I saw these new Hoder bars up here (the price is in Canadian dollars):
“Rise: 8.625′
Width: 30′
Upsweep: 1.5°
Back Sweep: 11°
Cross Bar: .75′
Weight: 2.13 Lb (.97 Kg)
Material: 4130 Crmo”
A few weeks ago I texted Hoder to ask if he pulled the El Toro 360 and he said that the footage was going into an S&M DVD, and that they were putting out 4 DVD’s this year. I thought he must have mis-typed or something. Apparently not, and this is the trailer for the 1st of 4 DVD’s that will be dropping in 2010:
“Here’s the trailer for the first of four DVDs coming this year, featuring parts from Hoder, Arrash, and Isaac Barnes, as well as the recent Austin road trip. DVD out soon!
There’s a thread on TCUB today in which Larry Alvarado (resident S&M filmer) linked to the above photo from the S&M Facebook. It’s easy to guess what was attempted but was it pulled? Knowing Hoder, probably.
S&M’s new site is finally up and they put out this web video to go with it. It’s got Mike Hoder (who just got an S&M hand tattoo, yikes!), Randy Brown, Isaac Barnes and a few others.
Also of note, S&M are doing custom frames which I’m sure will be of interest to a lot of you.
