Spinner’s got an interview on ESPN where he discusses the controversy surrounding his recent Dew Tour win. Go on, do your job, hater:

Mike Spinner has had a big week. First he wins Dew Tour much to the chagrin of some of his peers. Then an embarrassing video of a junior high beatdown he incurred was posted on a popular BMX gossip blog. And now we have a look into the house that he calls home. Impressive. I probably wouldn’t have gone with the “giant graffiti-style mural of my own last name in my bedroom” look, but you gotta respect a move that bold.

Spinner won Dew Tour park, which is pretty impressive considering he’s been hurt for a long time now. Normally I would wait for the video to pop up online, not watch it, and post it, but this is funny because the whole Twitosphere seems to think Gary Young (or just anyone besides Spinner) should have taken the win. I haven’t seen either run but I screen-capped some of the funnier and more informative responses to Spinner’s win after the jump. I think it’s fair to say Tony Hamlin’s Tweet takes the cake.

BTW, Daniel Dhers got 2nd and Garrett Reynolds rounded out the top 3.

What is Nooka? In their words: “Nooka is a fashion design company, most prominently known for our line of timepieces”. Along with representing their current products, Mike will also be co-designing a Nooka watch to be released for the Holiday 2010 season.

The finals got rained out, but before they did, a few guys got their runs in. Too bad, it would have gotten nuts… not to say this doesn’t have some wild stuff in it.

For those of you that care about contests, this is is turning out to be a good one so far… except for Bjorn Mager and Baz Keep, who both are out with some substantial injuries.

Here Mike goes really in depth about what parts he runs and why.

Austin gives Spinner a 1 foot handicap (like in golf). The bet is 1 dollar if Spinner wins, but if Austin wins it’s “a night at the movies”… PAUSE. Sit back, watch and see who wins, but spoiler alert, Daniel Dhers doesn’t have much faith in Spinner’s abilities:
