A while back Nike took the guys down to Tampa, Florida to gather up some new photos and video for their 2010 advertising campaign. They also shot mini interviews with them all, and this is Garrett’s. You may have already seen some of these clips in TV ads, but there is some new footage as well.

This is pretty cool. Check out 16 of the best tricks from the Nike Standby Barcelona videos, then hit the booth for a chance to win some kicks. For all you guys who argued in the comments about which team should have taken first, here’s your chance to have some influence on things.

Nike 6.0 is doing a contest this weekend in Huntington Beach. You can find highlight videos and all that good stuff on the Ride site, but I found the most note worthy part of the event coverage to be Fat Tony’s bikini girl galleries. Check gallery one here and two here.

Here’s a new project Nike has going on that Nigel has a role in:

“In conjunction with the World Basketball Festival, Nike Sportswear is connecting the Five Boroughs of New York City in a celebration of its iconic Air Force 1 sneaker. Nike Sportswear has chosen five ambassadors from each of the five boroughs to participate in a program that includes original pieces of online content, a basketball tournament, and a Manhattan block party takeover.

The Five Borough ambassadors include rapper, songwriter and producer Theophillus London from Brooklyn; up and coming rapper Miss Banks from Harlem; Rapper and Young Money record artist Corey Gunz from the Bronx; Format, a BMX lifestyle store and crew led by Nigel Sylvester, from Queens; and from Staten Island— host of the longest running show on WSIA in New York, Emilio Sparks. Each ambassador will document his or her memories of growing up in each borough in unique pieces of content.”

Featuring the ridiculously stacked team of Dennis Enarson, Rob Wise, Ty Morrow and Shane Weston. Definitely a couple “firsts” here and some bizarre usage of spots in ways I never would have expected.

On their home turf and coming in as the underdogs, the Spanish team show that, like their football team, they are stepping up in the game with a sweet edit taking 4th place in the Nike 6.0 Standby Barcelona video comp.

The finals got rained out, but before they did, a few guys got their runs in. Too bad, it would have gotten nuts… not to say this doesn’t have some wild stuff in it.

For those of you that care about contests, this is is turning out to be a good one so far… except for Bjorn Mager and Baz Keep, who both are out with some substantial injuries.
