So this is pretty funny. We posted an edit of Simone welcoming him to the Quintin team earlier today. And it was good, much like everything Simone puts out. But Quintin have informed me that unbeknownst to Simone and Quintin, Simone’s Nike contracts says that he can’t have a hat sponsor. So there you have it, the shortest known sponsorship in the history of this website.

This years’ Nike HB event looks to have a good mix of traditional park elements, along with a healthy street influence. Despite being a big Nike event, it has managed to attract some less contest oriented riders, such as Rob Wise and Tammy McParty, along with contest vets like Garrett Reynolds and Dennis Enarson. It should be interesting to see how this one plays out.
