Fresh off Metal, Jim Bauer is now on a Sunday 3rd Wave set up. It has a few prototype parts, including an Odyssey chain. It looks like an average KMC, re-stamped with an Odyssey logo, but coming from Odyssey I’d certainly expect that it is not the case. Click here to see the photos larger.

This is a good idea, sure, but man, when was the last time you saw somebody with a railed seat? Dans Comp currently has 16 railed seats for sale (and most of them are made by race companies you’ve never heard of) versus 51 Pivotal’s. In my entirely worthless opinion, railed seats are dead and never coming back.

After almost 5 years with Odyssey as a product designer, Ben Ward (pictured above with myself, Gravy, and a girl we refer to as “Ozzfest“) has decided to part ways with Odyssey on good terms.

Here’s the email:
“It has been beyond a great experience working on projects for Odyssey, GSport, Flatware and Sunday!, truly a dream come true. The entire crew is great and I will miss our time together. I look forward to the future and possibilities to work with another brand.”

This is great. One of the best current street riders trades off tricks with one of the best flatland riders. I’d love to see companies that sponsor flatlanders and street riders do stuff like this more often. Check it after the jump.
