With the success of the inaugural Texas Toast Jam in 2011, Taj & Odyssey have teamed up again to bring you the jam in October instead of May this year. Personally I’m stoked it will be happening in the later months because the heat was absolutely brutal last year. Mark your calendars, get stoked & start making road trip plans!

I knew Broc Raiford was good, but I don’t think I knew that he was this good! Clearly Odyssey had it figured out well before me, since they grabbed him up to be part of the team.

Odyssey put together the best clips from all of the 2011 ODSY Vision videos into one. Even if you know you saw all of the videos before, it’s worth watching these clips over again.

There is so much to say about this. First, I can’t believe how far Dang Dang has come. Less than 2 years ago he was embroiled in the Austin Trail Nazi saga (part 1, part 2) and now he’s getting picked up by Mike Aitken in a Trans Am. Next, this is definitely the best riding (and the most riding) we’ve seen from Aitken since his injury. This was filmed and edited by Joe Rich (imagine these 3 rolling up to your local skatepark?) and some of this might even be from the session that Elf mentioned where “something clicked” in Mike’s head while riding with Joe. Finally, Tom’s riding in this is just amazing. The fact that he uses a huge quarter and a roof as a hip is just ridiculous.

You gotta give them props for this on a marketing level. I’m sure it’ll ruffle a few industry feathers, this might be a comments section worth keeping an eye on.

“Once upon a time in New Mexico, a handful of dudes in a giant van drove and flew thousands of miles in search of the perfect rail. With Jeff Z as the trusty tour guide, they discovered plenty of setups in a little sleepy town found in the state’s northern mountains. Justin Simpson, Gary Young, Sean Sexton and George Boyd were all aboard for the mission. Sean had the misfortune of piercing a giant hole in his knee within what was probably only 15 minutes of getting out of the van so he’s a little MIA in this video.
