I was doing some Googling and ended up watching this little nugget. It’s the first ever Subrosa web video featuring their original team of Rich Hirsch, Hoang Tran, Ryan Sher and Eli Platt. Rich and Eli have since moved on (Rich to start Stranger and Eli to like, learn, and stuff), but I remember being pretty stoked on this when it first dropped. Rich’s crankarm feeble was rad, this was the first stuff I ever really saw of Hoang (that hard 180 over the rail/channel thing was amazing) and Eli did what I assume was the first kinked rail to second stage duster.
UPDATE: Re-up’ed their second web video from way back when too.
Here’s some new stuff that Man-Child has filmed during his time here in Austin, put together by Rich Hirsch. There’s actually two different videos of the same footage set to different tunes, featuring clips from Caleb Quanbeck, David Grant and even Rich himself. Get into it.
If you’d like to become a fan of Them on Facebook, do so here.
Edit: It seems to not allow me to link directly to the Them blog, only the main page. So if you are wondering where the videos are, hit the Blog tab.
Rich Hirsch of Lotek has an interview up here on ESPN. Above is a random clip of Rich doing a long ass edger, clearly heavily influenced by The Come Up’s pro team. I heard the upcoming *** DVD might have a clip or two of Rich but those rumors are yet to be confirmed.

Rich has a really good interview up on Say Mayday that gives a lot of insight into what it took to make the new Fit video. I know the coverage of this video has been total overkill and that it’s a little late, but I really enjoyed reading this regardless.

A lot of you are curious/hyped/mad about Rich Hirsch’s new frame company, Stranger. I posted up the rumor a while back and he’s been dropping a few web videos (1, 2) since, but now is your first chance to cop some stickers and be the first person in your area repping. Trust me, Rich has some dope shit planned for this brand. All you gotta do is place an order through the web store and buy either TCU stickers of a TCU shirt or video and you’ll get a bunch of free Stranger stickers with your purchase. However I’m about to leave on a trip so the packages won’t actually be mailed til the 18th. Good? Good.
Oh and I’m still giving away 20 Come Up stickers per short ordered (or you can buy 20 for 2 dollars) and you’ll still get 15 percent off your order with “xmas” as your bonus code. Enjoy.

Not much of a rumor since I know it’s a fact, but Rich Hirsch has a bike company in the works. I believe it’s called “Stranger” and word is that it’s going to be all American made. No word on the team or anything yet but I’m hitting him up now for an interview so look forward to that.

So there have been approximately 4 billion posts about Interbike up on here over the past week, which is a good thing I suppose. Lots of you are interested in new bike parts, and for those of you who aren’t interested, it’s easy to just scroll past the photos of shiney new trinkets. I wasn’t there, but I hit up a bunch of dudes ( Rich Hirsch, Robbie Morales, Van Homan, Gaz Sanders, Ryan Sher and Brian Osborne) who were there, whose opinions I respect and got them to answer a few questions about the show. Walk with me.
