I had no idea this video was happening and don’t remember a single thing Charlie filmed for it, but it’s pretty funny regardless:
“In preparation for the premiere of the brand new OSS DVD “Football,” OSS team rider/ESPN contributor Charlie Crumlish put together the above edit, detailing some times in and around the OSS House in Austin, Texas this past winter and early spring. Featuring OSS team riders Jake Seeley, Rory Ellis and sandwich artist Kareem Wiliams, who seems to believe no one understands what he’s actually saying. Here’s Charlie’s take on his Austin experience: “I was lucky enough to be staying at the OSS house during SXSW and a bunch of us worked jobs that were available for the festival week. Adam22, Alex Platt and I were bouncers at a bar for a few days, and oddly enough Byron Anderson, former Shadow Conspiracy pro rider was our boss. The job consisted of basically no bouncing whatsoever.” Check the video in preparation for the OSS premiere, which goes down next week at Post Bikes in Brooklyn, N.Y. Enlarge the accompanying flyer for full premiere info. Video by Charlie Crumlish.”
If you can excuse the terrible video player, here’s all the teams footage from their NYC stops including the TCU team and their all-star rider Rory Ellis, aka Chris Pringle.
Craig Passero and many many familiar faces including Chris Childs, Chris Zep, Rory Ellis, Bobby Whitely, and more clocked a ton of wham cam footage feating Chris Long on the air horn. I bet you didn’t know that Craig could skate too…
Here, Jeremy Hrabal of V Club fame helps a homeless man make a sign for begging purposes then Adam22 and Rory Ellis show how to get some drunk chick’s numbers at a gas station in the middle of the day.
Props uploaded this section from the Megatour DVD for us… it features Rory Ellis, Chase Dehart, Jake Seeley, Ben Hittle, Blackman and Muffinman. In some ways, it was the worst trip of my life, but in other ways it was awesome and we had a real good time.
Also we have a poll going on TCUB to see which Road Fools will be uploaded next Friday! Go here, vote, and next Friday a section of your choosing will be uploaded.
Not sure if Adam wants this re-posted but I noticed that it is now embeddable so I figured it was worth it since I know at least a few people had a hard time viewing the post when it was embedded exclusively on Them.
The trailer for Adam’s new company’s new DVD is now up on a new site called Them:
“For the last year of my life I’ve been working everyday on something called OSS. While the business plan behind it has changed a few times, and at times I didn’t even know if it was ever going to happen, the one thing that stayed consistent is that the team and I have been focused on filming for our first DVD, “Football” since day one. The DVD, our first line of parts and a selection of shirts and other softgoods will all be available early this summer on ThemBMX.com. Them is also where you’ll be able to stay up on what OSS has coming, along with stuff from our sister company, Stranger. Get down or lay down.
