The S&M boys take over Salt Lake for S&M’s newest DVD. Looks like a good time was had, on and off the bikes. Seeing as it will most likely only be $5, you should definitely keep an eye out for it’s release and grab one up.

5 years ago I started a blog called The Come Up. Today it is widely considered the most popular and influential BMX website of all time. To celebrate an amazing 5 years I got a bunch of my friends together to ride around Long Beach, proof that even after all these years, it’s still about the same thing, riding around with your friends having fun. The 2011 Palm Desert Ditch Ride & BBQ went down recently, and it looks like it was a great time. With names like Nathan Williams, Raul Ruiz, and Rory Ellis in attendance, I’m sure the kids were stoked.

This one took two days but I promise it’s worth it. Mike Taylor is still here killing it, Garrett Reeves is sending himself off ambitious gaps and we’re throwing couches out the window.


This one was the first picture we took on Saturday. Chris Long took off and found some pretty nice couches online and we threw the shitty old ones out the window. Alfredo tried to catch them and failed.

We didn’t really ride much Saturday due to everyone being ridiculously hung over but we took Mike Taylor to “The Stage” (which I have been to about 40 times since I got here) and he did something nobody was expecting, he grinded the whole thing to whip. Not sure what he’s doing with the footage from this trip but he’s killing it everywhere we go.

We ran into Nathan Parker and Bobbie Altiser of Tree Bikes fame.

Brian Hunt’s idea of a meal is a hot dog with no ketchup, mustard or any other condiments and a Monster.

Usually this perfect uprail is a no-go because there’s no space up top, but the door happened to be open and a janitor was vacuuming so nobody heard Mike Taylor grind up it, loop through the hall and then switch crook back down first try.

We hung out over this girl’s house and were happy to see that a piece of salmon we impaled on a light outside 3 weeks ago was still there, rotting away.

Property values are plummeting on our street as the neighborhood becomes accustomed to this gargoyle sitting around in sweatpants for all to see.

One thing you can usually count on is that Garrett will find a gigantic gap to do. This is what it looked like from my perspective. I also had to figure out the traffic patterns so he wouldn’t get hit by a car and it was more than a little stressful.

Great success.

Mike Taylor was astonished to witness an ice cream truck that sold both nachoes and ice cream floats. He had never even heard of a root beer float before. He loves to talk about how bleek his own existence out in Warrington is in comparison to America.
