KHE hit me up to let me know that Bruce is still on the team, they were just having issues with their website for a couple weeks causing his team page to disappear. Along with that we have some photos of their 2011 Shola complete bike range that Bruce designed. All is well in the world. Check 2 more after the jump. Continue reading Shola Complete Line. >
Davey just uploaded this and sent it over. Also I have no idea if Darren’s name is spelled Reid, Read or Reed, personally I think they’re all great last names.
Davey hit me up on Facebook and let me know that he and Darren had quite Shola. I asked why and he basically said “a lot of reasons”. So there ya go.
UPDATE: Darren had this statement to give. I hope these dudes aren’t as drunk as I am typing this:
“”i argued with Bruce about the way the video was going and after it came out i was done. i had no inout on any parts that were made and i feel that everything that sholahas done or standed for is not the way i see things or what i want to be apart of”"
UPDATE 2: Davey reminded me that I hadn’t posted his Shola section yet. It has been on Youtube and it’s amazing, check it out here.
KHE sent over some info about their new Shola stem today. I noted one fully mis-use of a word:
“The Shola stem results in a collaborative effort between KHEbikes and SHOLA (Bruce Crisman).
The stem features a classic front load design with the innovative Affix clamping system (Patent Pending). It is made of 6061 Aluminium alloy and has been internally machined to save weight without scarifying strength.
Specs:
– Classic top load design
– Affix clamping system (Patent Pending)
– 6061 Aluminium
– 48mm reach
– 36mm rear stack height
– Weight: 245g (8.6oz)
– Color: hard anodised black with dark grey clamp “
So now that interbike is in full swing i thought i would put together a interbike photo post, most of these are from twitter so expect shitty quality and disgusting things like the new odyssey poster above.
Goods has the Shola video for sale and they posted the DVD artwork… looks more like a black metal CD than a BMX video, but the riding is what counts. Looking forward to seeing this big time.
Chris over at Seventies hit me up about their premiere for the Shola video on August 15th, the same day as the U.S premiere, check out their site for all the details if you will be around there that day.
I don’t know why, but apparently BMX is getting into semi-auto weapons. There was two videos posted today. Who will have the first gun sponsor? The first video was found on Subrosa. Check out another from the Shola site after the jump.
Edit: Morgan Wade talks about owning and shooting guns in his interview below also…. coincidence?
