“We are hosting a game of B.I.K.E. in Manhattan on Monday in honor of Nigel’s birthday. Click here for the location and check the flyer for all the details. Everyone is welcome to come hang out.”- Animal
The last episode of this series showed a night in the life of Nigel. Here we have the day. Super stoked on some of the moves they do on Houston rail, the tech stuff Nigel does is kinda obviously amazing but that crook up the whole rail is really ridiculous too, that thing is super old, bouncy and slow.
Also, the fact that you trolls found a way to hate on the last video just shows that no matter what you do, no matter how real you keep it, people are always going to shit on you once you start doing big things in life. You haters should be ashamed of yourselves.
Damn Glenn did a great job putting this together. Basically it’s a night in the life of Nigel (a particularly eventful night that includes a photoshoot, a heavy ledge session and a party). Pretty crazy the life Nigel’s made for himself just by being dope on a bike and a nice guy (a lot of you kids are good at the bike part and fail miserably at the ‘being pleasant to be around’ part). Looking forward to part 2.
Tyrone has a good little interview up on Group Home. The most interesting part is what he says about being let go from Redline:
“Basically they said that they couldn’t pay me anymore due to budget cuts, as well as for published photos too. There would be no way to pay my bills after that. but I didn’t find that out until I called them close to month after not receiving my check. so i felt it was only right to leave after that because they wanted me to work for free, while using my image to promote them.”
Ride says Tyrone is off Redline. I kinda thought he was off Redline a while ago, but then he had a bike check last month and he was still rocking their frame. Regarding his upcoming sponsor situation, I haven’t posted anything about it for the past 2 years, so I might as well not start now until they make it official. If you’re confused about what I’m talking about, the comments could possibly help fill you in, but I wouldn’t believe what the commenters on this site say either; they’re all jerks.
Completely unrelated, Ride says Raul Ruiz is on Fit flow too.
Tyrone has a bike check up on Ride that you’ll want to check out to see a few prototype unreleased Animal parts. He also mentions that Animal are coming out with Edwin grips that will come without flanges which should save me about 20 seconds of razorblade use every 4 months, so I’m into that.
This is funny… this kid Nick Crosby just sent me a link to some pictures of his bike and said “he totally jacked my steeze” in reference to Tyrone’s latest web video. Is stealing a paintjob a federal offense these days?
