Just spotted on Twitter that Vince has moved on from Subrosa. Pretty sure I know what he’s doing but I’m waiting on confirmation before I post it.
Previously: Vince Kroff Bombin’ B Street
UPDATE: The “Pretty sure I know what he’s doing” was originally intended to infer that he was on Stranger (everyone in the comments was clearly thinking the same thing) but I asked Rich and he said that that is not the case.
I received this in my email today. I also received a message saying I shouldn’t post it because the video description sorta takes a shot at Charlie Crumlish:
“In true skeleton form, Vince Kroff takes a simple curb cut and
blasts down on of the biggest hills in SD. While filming this we had a
motorcycle cop roll-up and ask if we were terrorists- no joke. Good
thing I said no or we;d be in shackles and you’d be watching some
Charlie Crumlish jib session on youtube.”
I’ll just give them the benefit of the doubt though and assume there was no actual malice meant towards Charlie, since he is without question in my mind one of the best things going in BMX these days. And even if it was meant to be a diss towards Charlie, Justin Kosman probably wrote it and not Vince. Justin seems like a nice enough guy as far as I can tell so again, benefit of the doubt.
UPDATE: Vince confirms he is a C.C. fan:
I’m always excited to see some new Hoang Tran footage. Especially with pegs on! Features some guest appearances by Gary Young, Vince and Tom Perry. Seen on Defgrip.
Image is slightly censored to avoid drawing attention to certain bitch ass N words (it’s not true anyway, I just sent him and Hoang shirts because they’re homies), but it’s funny as shit and I’ve still got a few left.
Vince has a little Q&A action over on the Subrosa site about his broken elbow that he managed the other day. In other Subrosa news Hoang has a bunch of his really good poloroid shots on there too. I should have a full length interview with Vince up in a few days too if that matters. -Kurt
When I went to San Diego two weeks ago we did a lot of riding. We went to this park called Libby and Kosman pulled out his camera. I managed to get a shitty turndown to equally shitty 540 in there. Sus-Sus-Getti? haha
Also, I should probably mention Vince Kroff hit me up last night to tell me he broke his elbo. He might need surgery, and he might be out for two months. -Kurt
