Behind The Scenes At Animal.

Little behind the scenes look at the Animal warehouse. Lots of talk about Animal’s cut-n-sew line and how BMX companies making legit apparel will just help BMX grow. I’m in total agreement. If anything, Animal doing so well is just proof that BMX companies can only really thrive when their creative direction is in the hands of people who actually understand BMX (the opposite can be proven by any number of brands that have fallen off and/or disappeared over the past 10 years).

im wearing a animal shirt right now ..and good layout on the design area..simple yet that good feel to it .to ads, net, softwear design ,everything

if it wasnt for Animal ..street and the whole scene wouldnt be where its at today

  • http://www.dubbmx.com tommy

    the streetest company

  • http://Website point

he’s totally right. skate companies must make most of their cash on apparel, number of people you see wearing it that have never been near a skateboard. animal is doing well, they are the only bmx company you see filtering through to street wear shops and blogs. that jacket is legit.

Word! Animal is on for a few years already and the way they’re planning their future and the future of our scene they’re going last centuries hopefully.

Great Vid. Really cool to see the business aspect of BMX. However, its a shame that all their clothing is Made in China. Maybe more kids would have money to spend on BMX goods, if their parents had jobs.

    like.

I didn’t used to like their clothes but Im getting into it more and more. Love that letterman jacket wish they’d produce more colours though.

the cost of the product after production in states would be ridiculous, making the stuff in china keeps the costs down for everyone

Did you know that the Chineese government has been funding and promoting computer hacking( in the likes of thousands of hand on computers) to break into U.S. financial systems, stock market grids, and as of late have cracked into the U.S. power grid. They now have achieved the first step in bein able to shut down all electricity to major cities in the blink of an eye. Thank goodness Animal can get cheap junk made there. In a few years when our debts to China exceed what investors can get back, I will wear my cheap ass Animal hoodie to stay warm in winter. SUCKS! I know but its the truth, and it may set you free. P.S. Animal does have some tight ass shit, and I’m gonna rock the shit til the lights go out! cool video.

  • http://Website point

talking about it in specific relation to animal is irrelevent anyway. almost everything you own was made in china, they aren’t emerging as a super power because of sole backing from ralph sinisi.

  • http://Website Agreement

Completely agree, that was a good look into what exactly goes into making something more than a parts company. Animal FTW 2010

  • http://Website stallis

obama loves the chi-coms….. just sayin….they brought it up.

  • Facebook User

man…..i bought that cuban links hoodie a while ago thinking that it would be cool….and its not….like the wierd ass awkward zippers that zip down on both sides of your shoulders is lame as fuck, and i mean yea the material and pattern is cool but that design really sucks….

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Steven-Hamilton/527381316 Steven Hamilton

makes a good point if more people bought from bmx companies the money would go back to them. for instance pros could get paid more

  • http://Website robert

I like what Animal is doing but you have to be careful not to allow other companies to charge more for half assed apparel because Animal is charging more for higher quality products. It leaves a window for “Bottom Feeders” to try and justify charging more for some simple sweatshirt or t-shirt.

I just don’t think it is as simple as what he makes it sound.

don’t kid yourself, Oprah is a HUGE gangster

  • http://Website b

he doesn’t mean it in the sense that you’ll get a full refund. he’s trying to say that people should buy off bmx brands because it keeps the money in bmx. when you buy a pair of nike 6.0s i very much doubt much of that money gets put back in to bmx.
