If Ryan didn’t really care about the helmet its funny but if he did really care and was serious, its even better and I’m glad he piped up about it. I’ve had more than a few conversations about how nice of a guy and quite possibly too nice of a guy he is. Usually in the context of comparisons of how cool/approachable/down to earth other pros and am riders are or aren’t but should be etc., just in case anyone was wondering why I’d be talking about that. Anyway, I know a thing or two about a few things and a little something about some other stuff but I can’t comprehend the level of “niceness” it would take for Ryan to initially pay for, pay the on going expenses, have it open (for the most part) to the public, and shoulder the liability of the Unit, especially not even living in Greenville any more! So even if Ryan insisted people wore a pink nut cup that said, “I’m a little nancy boy” on it along with a pink t-shirt that said, “I’m a little nancy boy and I’m wearing a pink nut cup that says that too.” He would not be out of line one bit and still would be the coolest mfer for #1 having the Unit in the first place and #2 letting anyone ride it at all under any circumstance, helmet or not. In all the thank yous at the end of the video, not even one to Ryan. Pretty sure the trip would have played out a bit different with out him, or with out him being so cool.

Nyquist owns the unit and that’s the bottom line. Anyone calling him old and salty, do you have any idea how much it cost and how much time it took to create that place? Also, do you have any idea what kinds of liabilities come along with owning a place like that? Nyquist is an older dude but hes still winnin contests and filming good stuff and doing a ton of stuff that nobody else can come close to. It’s all about respect.
