IMO….gary rode very well but should not have won. His runs were fast and flowing the whole park with a few original tricks, which is great but it was nothing new and didn’t have any big or risk taking tricks.
Garrett is dialed at what he does and has “style” but does way more barspins than Spinner does whips and spins.
Mark Webb’s runs had it all but he landed werid on something early and took 15 seconds or so to get back into the groove
Nyquist would have and should have won if he didn’t crash in the end of his first run.

Scotty was surprisingly original and stylish, Reynolds – it seems that he was stuck in one place with few tricks. Webb was really good, i do not like him, but his run was amazing. spinner, hmm I didnt like him at all, but u cant hate him because of the poor judging.
That was terrible. Both 1st(shitter) and 2nd(Duhers) place did nothing but go back and fourth hitting the same three ramps. That same cookie cutter run could have been done at any park with quarters on both sides and a ramp and spine in the middle. Here’s a run down of both first and second place runs. Drop in, quarter, box jump, quarter, spine ramp, quarter, box jump, quarter, spine, quarter, box jump, quarter, spine, you get the point. Gary Young had the best run plain and simple. The emphasis needs to be put back on style, flow, and originality, and less on “difficulty of tricks” because you end up with contest robots with three hard tricks nailed down that they can do anywhere with a big enough ramp winning all the competitions. While all the creative riders are in 5th – 10th place. Those contest results were SHIT. Can’t wait for the X-games…

Thats aside the point, He did a quad whip and ball rode out (1) Did a 1080 turndown *Impressive (2) Trip whip qp (3) 5 whip qp (4) thats all he did and although in truth it is all good stuff, it shouldnt earn the win. I think pat casey did great. so did reynolds, A lot of bars and tucks but thats fine, its his style. He rode well and consitent, And utilized the entire park. young did great also, these guys should have rounded out the podium but whatever. The riders know who the real winners are.

Creativity… Spinner lacks this and shouldnt have won for not using the whole park. Other riders used more of the park and had better over all runs because of it.

Scotty was surprisingly original and stylish, Reynolds – it seems that he was stuck in one place with few tricks. Webb was really good, i do not like him, but his run was amazing. spinner, hmm I didnt like him at all, but u cant hate him because of the poor judging.
That was terrible. Both 1st(shitter) and 2nd(Duhers) place did nothing but go back and fourth hitting the same three ramps. That same cookie cutter run could have been done at any park with quarters on both sides and a ramp and spine in the middle. Here’s a run down of both first and second place runs. Drop in, quarter, box jump, quarter, spine ramp, quarter, box jump, quarter, spine, quarter, box jump, quarter, spine, you get the point. Gary Young had the best run plain and simple. The emphasis needs to be put back on style, flow, and originality, and less on “difficulty of tricks” because you end up with contest robots with three hard tricks nailed down that they can do anywhere with a big enough ramp winning all the competitions. While all the creative riders are in 5th – 10th place. Those contest results were SHIT. Can’t wait for the X-games…
