I am better at both than you… i should say all three cuz i ride your mommy when your daddy is away on business… but id hardly call that a sport cuz the heffer cant even roll over for me.
Now we have riders riding fixies and trying tricks. Many of their tricks are original and in fact, were around a long time before BMX racing or freestyle. More recently fixie riders have taken to the street and are trying street moves, many of them BMX moves.
You have this site so you can say you are a part of BMX while you still completely suck at the sport.

BMX rider baffle me sometimes. BMX freestyle evolved and used a lot of skateboarding moves and names…..and in the 80′s we got ripped on for it. But the sport evolved and eventually proved it’s reason for being.

Now we have riders riding fixies and trying tricks. Many of their tricks are original and in fact, were around a long time before BMX racing or freestyle. More recently fixie riders have taken to the street and are trying street moves, many of them BMX moves. Why not? Really….I don’t understand why you BMXers care so much. They are just evolving and having fun while doing it.

From most of the websites of fixie riders I have seen, they have totally given credit to BMX for where their tricks came from.

Actually, a lot of fixie riders are BMX riders. The sweet thing about a fix gear bike is that you can ride your bike to a spot then do tricks. I suppose riding a BMX is not the proper tool for going on a 15 or 20 mile ride.

from a challenge stand point i respect it, there is no way that its easy. im not into it, if it doesnt look good it shouldnt be done in my opinion but that applys to bmx as well
