I don’t know about those particular frames, but for decades there have been 20″ wheel track bikes that fit basically like any other track bike, google alex moulton if you want to know more. They’re kind of fun, the wheels weigh a lot less than 700c stuff so the acceleration is pretty awesome.

This is one more piece of proof that anyone who gets serious about tricks on fixie will eventually get curious about BMX, try one, and probably never go back.

You can see that they’re custom frames and not gay fixed gear conversions because the seat-stay bridge is made only big enough to accept 20″ wheels. I think they’re kinda chill. And only the pink one is a fixed gear. The green one is just an over-sized BMX.

Every one just take a second and think about this, if your hating on this because you feel that there a “ball-dangler” as Aaaaarg called them, consider this, BMX bikes were not invented for tricks, its in the word, (bicycle motocross RACING) they were made for RACING, back in the day and did any one hate on people like Bob Haro when they started using these RACING bikes for tricks. No of coarse the didnt other wise TCU most likely wouldnt exsist, so before anyone eles goes on hating just think about the fact that this bikes, fixies, mtbs and other bikes being used for tricks really arent all that differnt than the bmx bikes that we are all riding around.

Alas, like so much in life, we see again people missing the point of any activity which relates to the individual who does it, enjoying it. It seems that many would prefer the world to be a collection of activities that fit neatly with their opinion of what is ‘correct’ and ‘incorrect’. Can’t we just appreciate the obvious fact that these riders are doing what they do because they enjoy it? Or perhaps many of you don’t ride bmx because you enjoy it? But rather you do it because it’s the correct way of riding? That’s a great big philosophical assumption right there. No doubt this type of judgement follows from an insecurity that decides on what bike parts they use or the way they ride their bike, regarding what others think is ‘right’. Again, missing the point completely.
