great. watchted the first 5seconds, paused and decided a bigtime blaze was in order to watch his dew tour runs. this was initially well worth it however the second half put me in a daze for a bout a solid 20mins there i dont think ive ever been so bummed for another person that i dont know personally.

I really hope all of his sponsors like Monster/Fox, the big “we got money” ones helped out tons and stood by him. I would instantly never buy anything from either them again if they just dumped him. Someone please say they are at least KIND of helping him.

The editing in this really pissed me off. Every time the screen would fade to black while they were talking about the accident I thought they were going to show the video of the accident. Not that I wanted to see it, but it just made me cringe every time the video faded to black.

after watching this, it’s completely mind blowing that he can still 180 his bike post-accident, like he did in that vid that was posted a while back.

After hearing about what happened to Mike, I started to wear my helmet more and more. Now I wear it every time I ride. Who cares what it looks like. It sure as hell looks better than the scar you could get from cracking your head open. Get well soon Mike! Everyone is here for you!

SPEACHLESS!!! I would feel bad saying its a good video as it chronicals his injury, but it sends a deep message and chill to me. I always kept my fingers crossed for him. Though I have no experiance as bad as that I did need to learn to rewalk after a bad back injury. Its a very grueling process. I would love to see him back on his bike again but I am sure its not completely on his mind. Having a family and geting hurt like that really makes you think twice about what you do.

i always used to wear a helmet when riding park and larger dirt but over the last few years so many people have got hurt really badly that i always wear a helmet now even if its just doing manuals on some ledges. i think people who ride all the time with no helmets are insulting to people like mikey who’ve suffered and are now promoting the use of helmets
mikeys and inspiration to people who have suffered a bad injury and a warning to those lucky enough not to.

Yea… i got goosebumps and i am really creeped out right now. the part about hitting a jumps he has hit hundreds of times doing a dialed trick scares the hell out of me.

Mikey suffered alot. I wouldn’t even imagine that he was in that state.
His strenght and love for life stand up and now he does 180′s and hops again.
