LOVEcinema: “Here Goes Nothin”.

Apparently most of this was filmed a few years ago but the parts I watched seemed pretty sick so I don’t think it matters.

  • k dizzle

awesome. i’m pretty sure it’s same guys that did another perspective video.

  • jb666

i love older videos they remind me of better times

  • CC

Yea. Same guys out of Columbus that did another perspective.
Some of the footage is ancient, so is relatively new.

  • not billy malkotsis

that was the best half hour of unsponsored bicycle riders EVER,

  • http://myspace.com/tgay Trevor G

Everyone see that? Make more videos like this.

  • Nick

Yes it is. He had 95% of it done but school and work put it on the back burner. We bugged him about it to finish it and finally did. The newest clip is very early 2008.

  • pancakes

    that is bmx.

all these new school tuck no hander kids know nothing about this, they watch 30 seconds and probably turned this video off.

i watched it beginning to end and was very happy, even newer videos that companys make are not as good as this. the editing was really fucking neat too.

  • nokon cable

nick couts is so nice, josh long kills it, bill howard represents akron very poorly and only does goofy footed lookbacks still to this day. fuckin scrape skatepark clip hell ya conrad and glen. Brett Peltier kills it and is an awesome dude. Bobby D is a faggot and got kicked out of his own trails in Parma. (Side note: his dog Digger isn’t tight). Jake smith is crazy. Jeremy coleman hahahah not tight in any sense. Nick Smith legit, nice, and got his head on straight. Aaron Elam fucking kills it. Respect. Note to everyone, stop doing that curved bank to rail hop in akron, its been 180 bar’d. That includes kachinski in his stupid fucking old bio. And it was done probably 4-5 years ago.

  • Swonder

All I have to say is dont mess with ohio. One of the most legit videos you’ll ever see. Cant touch that editing and group of people.

  • CC

To Nokon Cable, just because that spot has been 180 bar’d doesn’t mean people should stop riding the damn thing. Don’t act like every street fuck that gets pissed of when people do the same trick at the same spot.

Have fun. Your comment isn’t in line with this video at all.
    Jeremy Coleman rules.

  • mowtie

way to much park footy if your not knock ceiling tiles it aint worth watchin
wasnt down for tha final countdown

  • RyRy

Way too good. These are all my friends who I ride with, and I’m super proud them and the video they put together. It’s an older school BMX feel good video, and 90% of these kids are 4-5 years my junior, but WAY good at freestyle. Plus, they “Get it.”

    Love my scene.

  • drizzle

Yea Ohio them are my boys!

  • http://myspace.com/rusticjeff Jeff DuPaul

video was so rad, man those last 2 sections were so good, and the credits ruled. stoked on this

  • Nick

You can see you’re tall ass in the very beginning shot of the friends section. lol.

  • ya

ya I guess backwards progression is what bmx needs. Good argument.

  • mike beckner

that was awesome! good to see ohio guys kill it. cant wait to get back to columbus this summer and doge the arizona heat. stoked!

  • ek

aaron elam’s part rocks my world ;)

  • http://nicksawyers.com SAWYERS

Holy shit minimal tuck no handers, minimal tailwhips, and i think everyone had brakes too! This has to be one of the most original videos ive seen on this site.

    Cheers to OHIO

  • CC

Backwards progression? Stagnant progression (or no progression) at best. People are doing the same trick, not forgetting how to do said trick.
How can people get better and progress if they don’t do tricks that have already been done?Progressing is moving forward from a certain level. In this instance, going from a 180 to 180 bar is progressing. Also, if someone does a flair triple whip, and no one else can do them, by your logic they should just not do it anymore.
    Stop being dumb.

Who says BMX needs to progress if people are having fun any way?

  • jim

    LEND ME 20 BUCKS DANIMAL

  • word

haha! ya i’m going to join in on this. Learning a trick doesnt require filming it, and a rail hop is a bunnyhop. If someone 180bars a rail hop, bunny hoping it isn’t tight. Also he argued against a spot not a trick so your dumbass flair example doesnt work. Play skate 2. you can “kill a spot”. I feel like the whole world understands this simple argument (including EA) except for you. With you questioning whether bmx needs progression or not I have no idea what you understand. You’re probably an older dude gettin mad at all the kids ridin.

  • mad

    faggot

  • Steve DeBusk

I never thought I would see this day, so stoked!

  • Zach Smith

This has been soooo long overdue. I sped home from work to watch the final edit of this when I started getting the texts that it was actually online.

  • BObmxer

yeah man, that’s so true, i’m with you

  • CC

Do you not understand that not everyone is as good as everyone else?
Don’t hate on someone who isn’t as good railhopping something you bar’d. If you want someone to progress you should encourage them to try railhopping something first and then trying a trick over it. That is progression. Maybe not for BMX in its entirety, but it is for that person.

    It’s people having fun.
I don’t give a shit if someone flairs a fucking curb. I’m going to do an endo on it and be stoked.

Again, by this logic, if someone 540 bar’d the banks, can I not barspin it? I mean, a 540 bar is inherently harder than a regular bar, right? Maybe I feel like HAVING FUN, not trying to do something impressive all the damn time.

  • Michael

who are the dudes that run this?
what is the significance of the aussies in it, like benn pigot and adam hough and i swear the last dude rode heaps of australian spots.
Watched whole video, was awesome from start to finish, just made bmxin’ look like fun again.

  • Meat-Head

6.51 – easily the best flip ever done. was fucking luda hahah. nice one lad!

  • Dude

    Tight fucking video.
I ride with these dudes on occasion.

Ps. To represent Akron properly you’d need a bunch of New York skavenger street wannabees. Grow up Akron. No one wants to see a bunch of mediocre riders in tall tees acting hard.

  • RyRy

Nick or Dan would probably be better suited to answer this, but in a nutshell:
Danimal lived in the LOVEcinema house for awhile, then moved to Australia.
I believe Adam and Danimal met in Australia, and Adam came to columbus for a couple of weeks and now they’re all dudes.

Also as I understand it, during the filming Danimal was in Australia, so him and Adam filmed stuff on their own to send to LOVEcinema. So you’re right, i’m sure there are lots of Australian spots.

  • alb

DAMN!!! my new favorite video. i love LOVEcinema.

  • Levi

Sweet video. I was waiting for this vidyo to drop for a while. Nick Smith is a smooth operator.

  • http://myspace.com/manualman99 justin

Thank you. That was one of the better videos ive seen up here lately. We need more videos like this. It had that oldschool lets have fun riding feel. good music too. This was honestly a breath of fresh air. PROPS

  • Joshua

That music definitely gave it a different feel. That was so good. Any chance of putting it up online for everyone to download?

  • Joshua

Everything about the video is so good. Just the filming and editing and riding is all top notch. For some reason it’s much more enjoyable watching a video like that than any other new release. You guys just seem to have a different mentality towards riding that seems to be lost nowadays. Everything about that video just feels old school aswell, in a really really good way. It’s weird, even the crash sections of nowadays aren’t anything like they used to be. Thanks a lot for this video : )

  • Kevin of Kinstonia

I agree for sure. That is how it still should be. I hate bmx as a whole now. But I still love riding my bike. If only times could still be like that.

  • Zach Smith

If you go directly to the Vimeo page they have it set up so you can download it directly to your computer as long as you don’t mind waiting the short time for a 400mb file to download.

  • Nexus 7

    Loved it.
