Macframa video premiere.

I can’t imagine any group of people I would rather hang out with less than the types of people that go to a fixed-gear film premiere. Dude with the beard at least sort-of acknowledges the incredibly obvious fact that doing a pedal wheelie and spinning your bars around on a track bike is essentially the gayest thing on earth. That being said, Eddie Cleveland is in this falling on his ass.

those guys are all FAGS!!!! ” i think a guy bombing a hill is a lot more impressive then some guy doing a wirlybird on flat ground”

  • hnrk

bikes are fun, no matter what wheel size it is.
but when this lifestyle-subculture-i-wanna-be-someone-important-and-wear-a-uniform-of-ideas-and-accessories-bullshit get’s in the way. it takes all the fun out of riding bikes.

  • derek

whats the point of fixie videos? seems like it would be really boring to watch to me… they act like riding down hills takes some kind of amazing talent or something. the guy that rode up on the bank made me laugh so hard… do they realize how fucking dumb they look?

dude fixie is legit…imagine snapping a chain going down hills you wous get messed up….you guys chirping have obviously never rode a vellodrome with 100% curved wallage….or been to a big city where fixie is the way to get around or for aot of people be a carrier…i want someone to send a video to adam22 of you riding a bike up a hill on a fixed gear….a real hill…calgary 14th st or 17th ave

  • Duncan

I live in San Francisco. There’s a big difference between racing a fixed gear in a velodrome or even legitimately bombing a hill, and posing, which is what 90% of the “look at my pink Phil Wood hubs and matching scarf” cunts do in the city. Besides, even when they’re going down hills, do most of these guys go fast? They can only go as fast as they can pedal. And what is the point of riding fixed in a city as hilly as SF? It’s like cutting off your foot and running track. “Sure, I’m not that fast, but dude–I only have ONE FOOT!” Seeing guys do sprocket grinds on $250 Sugino cranks (which are just basic ass square tapers annodized in fashionable colors) is ridiculous. Seeing them try and carve a ditch like the one on Treasure Island is a joke. Have fun, do your thing…but realize that “street” on a fixed gear is a combination of biting on BMX and being in the circus.

  • Beau

I live in San Francisco as well, and amazingly you are correct Duncan! If you want to go fast, get a Cervelo P4 TT Bike, with brakes and 20 speeds (!). If you want to do amazing stunts, get a bmx bike. If you want to ride in a Velodrome, get a track bike. If you want to wear a scarf and look like an idiot, ride slow, and spend thousands of dollars, get a fixie!

  • inch

remember the recent video post (that got a lot of positive feedback) of the bmxer kid that just liked to ride through the streets, and dodge traffic? that same spirit is in those kids on the fixed gears. so who cares about the beef? just ride bikes. ride bikes. ride bikes.

duncan man hit it on the head….there is (trendy kids)posers and then theres real guys…but i know a bunch of small town kids that just chirp it because its not bmx…but you tell me if u were to get on a fixie you couldnt resist going up on your backwhee and doing barspins like a cown lol….ive done it….but actually shredding stuff is stupid agrreed

  • strezzy streeeeet
