Oddly this has been online for approximately a month, but this is my first time seeing it and according to the Youtube stats, none of the other big BMX sites have posted it either. Weird. Anyway he seems like he’s doing way better than the last time I saw a video interview with him and really his recovery has been pretty amazing.

    On topic; I truly hopes your new goverment does something about your healthcare system, thru my “socialism eyes”, all human beings are valued enough to be treated in hospitals, not only the ones with money or an insurance.
    It’s both sad and beutiful that kids give their last dollar to Mike’s treatment, but in a fare system it wouldn’t be necessary.

    aitken is the man. it is so refreshing to see him come out of this, and to see him recognize what his riding does for the sport. he truly is outstanding and to be able to step back and reflect says a lot about him as a man. i watched form the start and hoped to see him ride again. he’ll be there and many many people will be watching and waiting.
