Damn schnell, calling me out. That Ride US picture was taken in 2000, I kinda pulled it, I just landed with my gut on my bars and made a puking sound. I don’t know why I’ve never gone back to pull it good, I see that bank from the freeway all the time. I think I flipped the bank Nathan’s flipping in the video if it’s the one in Austin. The lip wasn’t as sweet and I didn’t go nearly as high. I’m pretty sure I couldn’t do any of the other tricks in this video though. Scotty or Craig Mast would front flip that hip no problem. I always wondered if somebody would ever backflip a set of stairs, skiers and snowboarders do backflips off flat, Mirra does those crazy flip drop ins off the top of the wallride in his wearhouse. I want to see Mirra flip El Toro. I want to see Ian Schwartz or Bruce Crisman throw some brakes on and lockem up and lean back when they’re fakie hopping a shitload of stairs, fakie hop flip? It makes me cringe thinking of what could go wrong but I really believe it’s possible.
